"This is soooooo boring," Daniel said as he flopped back on his bed.
"Yep." Jeremy was already laying on the bed, staring up at the white ceiling."
"You know what's weird?" Daniel was thirsty for a conversation, and was tired of the days he spent at Jeremy's where they ended up not doing any activities.
"What?"
"Characters in movies don't do really weird stuff. Like you know how sometimes you'll just lay on the floor for 20 minutes because you don't feel like getting up?"
"I do that even when I do want to get up."
"Well movie characters don't, and they don't go on tangents by their lonesome, they don't make face in the mirror, and then they'll be stuff like zombie movies where the people will have never heard of zombies before!"
"Yep."
"They don't do it for books either! Never is there a scene in a book where the character goes 'wouldn't it be cool if a character talked about how cool it would be to be in a book's plot.'"
"That would be pretty cool."
"Yeah," Daniel said, unable to start any kind of talk with Jeremy.
