The hats falling down. The sound of everyone cheering. The snorts of Jasper. Nothing like the pulsing sound of my heart pounding over and over. I tense up, having the ring in my hand. I breathe feeling light headed and my ears can only here the sound of cold static. I finally run up to Lapis, feeling even more sick. When I see her beautiful face, I start tensing up but then the reminder of her face makes me relax. I start to get on one knee. I start to remember all of our great memories together.
Then the moment starts to fall into place and the words are ready to spill out.
