You and her.
Her and you.

You were pretty. She was apparently not.
People spoke your name in admiration.
People didn't speak of hers a lot.

Wherever you went, you were derided,
whilst if she took the same steps,
she would be chided.

You had a crowd of friends,
pretty and opulent.
She was too demure
to even take a compliment.

All of your friends
laughed at your jokes.
All of your friends
laughed at her clothes.

You were tall and slim and hot.
She was short and chubby and not.

People always told you
that you were interesting.
People only told her
that she was plain and boring.

Where you were a tsunami,
respected and massive,
She was a ripple,
harmless and passive.

You had flaws,
flaws that no one took note of.
She had flaws,
flaws that people judged her off of.

Your grades were decent,
just like people would think.
Hers were once excellent,
but had started to shrink.

You got a hundreds of likes on your picture,
whilst she deleted one comment,
her feelings a mixture.

You put on a smile,
for them to believe you were swimming.
She put on a smile,
to prevent them from winning.
