Sasuke x Reader: Ruby Red

  

Drip, drip.

Like paint.

Drenched in ruby red paint, she sat there.

"Hey, (y/n). Are you okay?" Sasuke asked his girlfriend, helping her off the ground. She had a few scratches on her legs and arms.

"Yep! Just fine, love!" (y/n) explained as she simply smiled at him.

"Well, don't overexert yourself, okay?" He placed a hand on her head.

"I won't! I just wanna get better!"

"But if you work too hard, you'll end up getting weaker." Sasuke tried to explain, but (y/n) simply jumped into a tree, disappearing. He sighed.

Ruby red paint.

Speckled across her face.

Ruby red paint dripped from her clothes.

Flicked on her face.

"(y/n), take out that ninja there!" Sakura yelled as she flipped out of the way of an incoming attack. (y/n) weakly nodded. She was crouched on the ground, breathing raggedly. Her arms and legs were numb. She didn't know why this was happening. She was so used to being attacked, she used her own attacks to harm herself during training at times, just to get used to the pain. She was tired of being everyone's weak child.

"Got ya, Saku!" She exclaimed as she stood up quickly, running at a ninja wearing all black.

Ruby red, drenched in it.

That bright color was slowly getting heavier.

Turning into pools of a deep dark red.

Darker than any ruby.

"(y/n)!!" Sasuke cried out, staring at the image in front of him. (y/n) had a crystal shard in her stomach, pinning her to a tree. Blood dripped from her abdomen, specks on her face and neck. Her body was completely limp, her eyes half open. Sasuke ran over to her-----

"Wait, I died?! N-no! I wanna wake up!! Please!! This dream has to end now!"

  Her eyes shot open.
