Chapter Seven, Headaches But No Heart Breaks

(Ashton's POV)

Luke. Lukey. Hemmings. Baby. Where had he gone off to? Luke. Lukey. Hemmings. Baby. I really needed to be with you. After what ever happen with Michael, I felt sort of out of it. I didn't even know what Michael did, all I remember was me stuttering about not telling him what happened between me and Luke and next thing I know I was telling him everything.

I wasn't sure why either, I didn't know where that came from at all. I just went from third floor to first, in a matter of seconds, then everything went slow when I got to Michael. Everything I saw was blurry and everything I heard sounded like it was under water. I passed it off as a head ache, so bad I must have been crying or something. My eyes got watery and I had to wipe the tears from my face, although they were a bit thick feeling...

But I wasn't caring about Michael, or Calum or head aches right now. There was only one thing on my mind by this time. And that was Luke. Luke and his blonde, perfectly done hair. Luke and his unforgettable personality. Luke and his perfect, smooth lips. Luke and his compassion for me.

God, I needed to find him. I was walking over to his locker, which I had thought he might have been at, but by the time I got there, school had already been out for ten minutes and Luke was no where to be seen.

I decided then to check out his house, maybe find him while I was walking home. I took a short cut from the third floor to the first, going through some back stair case me and Calum had found on our second day at this school. We weren't supposed to go there but it was just a narrow staircase that got you downstairs a lot faster then the normal, and usually packed, main stairs in the school.

Once I got to the bottom of the stair case, I opened the door that led out of them and right beside the office. I made sure there wasn't a teacher in front of the door and a fair amount of students around it so I didn't look so out of place.

I walked out of the front doors of the school and started towards the cross walk, spotting a familiar blondie.

"Luke!" I yelled across the street, Luke turned to see me and then he didn't move, allowing me to catch up to him. Once I caught up to him, he went to go talk but I cut him off.

"Luke, I love you ok. I really do, and I ran off because I thought you were going to let my heart drop and smash into a million pieces. But, I don't care anymore. Luke Hemmings I love you regardless of how this impacts our friendship." I said, it was time for the truth. Luke reached out his hand and my first thought was that he was going to hit me, but he didn't. He grabbed my shirt and pulled me in for another kiss.

Our lips fit together like puzzle pieces, locking together and making me never want to let go. Luke slipped his tongue across the bottom of my lip, asking me to open my mouth. I did, letting him explore around my mouth all he wanted. I felt sparks of love everywhere, my entire body tingling. Luke pulled off so he could take a breath, but we still stayed really close, his hands still tangled up in my shirt and our lips still only inches apart.

"Ashton, I might love you" Luke said, and with those words, he kissed me again.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Me and Luke walked to his house, hand in hand, never letting go. I never wanted to let go. Luke had some power over me where I never let go of his hand for anything. Once we turned onto Weaver rd, where Luke's house, I saw Calum walking on the other side of the road, just leaving Michael's front yard. I ran up to him, dragging Luke along with me while I called for Calum,
