Tough Skin is a community project that aims to promote body positivity through collaborative pieces from all different people on wattpad to celebrate and honour the physical differences we all have.
Look in the mirror, What do you see ? You see your reflection, But not yourself.
You don't look the same, it's not you who's there, Cause you been trying to be like others, And you seem to be no where.
It's not late to be your self, Go and be who you are, You don't have to be scared, Cause no one can rule you.
Are you scared what they might say, Are you scared what they might think, Are you scared that they might leave you, Are you scared to show who you are.
Don't you worry my dear , Let them say what they want, And let them think what they want, You can be you and I'll be me.
Let them do what they want, But they never can hurt you, Don't shut yourself in, Cause you are doing it wrong.
There is only one you, And there is only one me, So you got to be you, And I got to be me.
Look in the mirror, Now what do you see? You see yourself , And I see myself.
