*Snow's POV*

The pyramid of Giza was amazing, and that was just the outside. I walked inside, to see many tunnels and carvings. Truly amazing.

I walked around for ages, studying the walls and the way the whole thing was build. Until I heard a faint yell.

It seemed to be in Egyptian. I used to study Egyptian back when I wanted to be an Egyptian archeologist. My translations and accent wasn't exactly polished, but it was okay. The yell seemed to translate to something around; "Found one!"

I wasn't exactly sure if that was directed towards me, but something seemed off about the whole scenario, so I pulled out the sword that Lancelot gave me, from my backpack (Don't judge, it was big) and held it in front of me, ready. He also taught me to fight with it, he was a sweetheart.

I saw someone come around the corner and got ready with the sword. He was wearing ancient Egyptian clothing. And speaking in Egyptian. I was so confused. He switched to French; "Parlez-vous Francais?" I shook my head. "Zong wen?" (I'm only writing the pronounciation thingy for Chinese because I'm too damn lazy to find the symbols) I shook my head again. "English?" He sighed. "YES!!"

"Okay, I need you to listen up, because you might get killed if you don't." He explained about the ritual and everything to me. "Wait, how do you know I'm not an enemy of your king's?" I was confused. "Well, I see he gave you that necklace." He pointed at the one half hidden under my shirt.

Before I could say anything, I heard that yell again, and we took off running.

"I felt two people come into the pyramid just now, one is our king, no doubt, and the other seems like a father in his mid thirties or 40ths."

"Larry!" I was glad he was here as well, I didn't think I could face Ahk alone at the moment. We ran up and down a bunch of staircases. "So, which way are we going?" He asked me. I stared at him in shock. "I thought you were leading?" I sighed, great, we were lost. "By the way, I'm Snow." "Call me Jack."

We ran into an empty room, and realized that it was a dead end. I held the sword out in front of me, facing the door. A man came in with a knife, shouting in English. "HOW DARE YOU BETRAY US, JACK." Ahk must've taught them English.

"HOLD UP, I'm a friend of your king's, not an enemy." I stood in between him and Jack. He scoffed, "Sure, whatever, we need a human sacrifice, so you're going to have to die." He charged with his knife, he was good, he was quick and speedy, I could just barely block him. I turned around too fast and winced in pain. My wound was still not fully healed. He seemed to notice, and knocked my blade away while my grip was loose. He came at me with the knife, and I grabbed his arm and pushed it towards the wall, trapping the knife in the sandstone. I could tell neither of us were good in hand and hand combat. His punches had terrible accuracy, but they were strong. I tripped backwards over a loose stone, and he kicked me in the gut and I crashed into the wall.

I tried to move, but the pain stopped me. The wound didn't reopen, but it still hurt badly. To top all that, the kick had winded me. So I was gasping for breath. All I could do was lie there against the wall while he managed to dislodge his knife. How did I manage to get myself into these situations? Before the blade could hit me, gold dust, or particles, flew in front of it, and then completely shattering the blade. A figure in gold appeared in front of me, blocking the way.

"Do NOT, touch her." His voice boomed throughout the entire room.

"Ahk..."I looked down. He had to waste his time saving someone as useless as me.

"But... My Lord, we need a sacrifice..." The man bowed his head.

"Didn't your prophecy say that your king's love will change all that?" Ahk said in a softer tone.

The man nodded. Ahk turned to me. "Look, Snow, erm, you see... the only reason I said I didn't love you anymore was because... I'm a magnet when it comes to trouble. I didn't want you getting hurt because of me. I thought that this was the right way to protect you, but all that seemed to do was hurt you. I'm truly sorry, will you... forgive me? God, I'm terrible with apologies." He looked away. I smiled, "Let's see, hm... I'll forgive you if you come with me to get ice cream, later." He turned back towards me, and smirked, he walked towards me lifted my chin. "Come on, you know I'm irresistible." I looked away, my face red.

Larry came running in with his flashlight out like a weapon. He was panting. "Whew, oh, shoot, ugh, I'm getting old." I laughed, then winced at the pain in my stomach.

"Are you okay?" Ahk looked at me, concerned. I nodded, he helped me up, with my arm around him. "Y-yeah... I'm fine." and then I blacked out.

I woke up in some room, a bedroom. A bedroom the size of my apartment. It was Egypt themed, fit for an Egyptian king. I then realized that I was in Ahk's arms.

"H-hello." I stuttered. "Hi. Did you have a nice res - hey, why are you blushing?" He smirked. "Well, I um, just noticed that you don't really have a shirt on..." I felt my face heat up even more. He chuckled. "Well how would you react if I did... this?" He pulled me closer towards him, so that I was pressed up against his bare chest, and toned torso. "A-Ahk..." I swear my face looked as red as a tomato.

He explained about the whole scenario, about how there happened to be a whole KINGDOM down under the pyramid. And the ritual, pleasing the gods, and etc.

"Well, I'm only just pulling straws here, why don't they just burn some of each god or goddess's favourite foods, to please them with the scent and the fact that you worship them and whatnot. I mean, the Greeks do it. Like for Aphrodite, the goddess of love, they burn lettuce as one of the things, because she loves lettuce, and for the other gods... I don't really know." I shrugged.

"That... That is genius." Ahk stared at me. Genius? I literally stole that idea from the Greeks.

Ahk told the villagers... er, residents? Um... people there about the idea, and they loved it. They all had a huge party that night, before going back to mummies, dead. I was busy writing my report on the pyramid, and stayed in Ahk's room. The next day, the tablet teleported us back to the museum.

Sorry this was a sh/tty chapter, i promise it's getting better
