(D/n)-daughter's name
(N/n)-your nickname
(Y/n)-your name
(E/c)-your eye colour
(H/c)-your hair colour

Emily comes home from school,
Grabs onto her daddy's hand,

Akaashi sees a miniature version of his lover enter their apartment. Her (h/c) locks, which were up to her shoulder, were wet from the rain.

"(D/n), I told you to bring an umbrella to school. Hurry up and take a shower before you catch a cold, okay?" The man hugged his daughter and patted her head before (d/n) heads to her room.

He smiled as he thought of how much his daughter resembled his wife. (Y/n)'s (h/c) hair, that used to glisten in the sun while they were out on dates. Her beautiful lips and smile, which he used to kiss. And, of course, her cheeky personality, that (d/n) inherited.

Keiji's trail of thoughts were interrupted as (d/n) hopped into the living room and sat down. She was unusually quiet.

He says, "Baby girl, what's wrong with you?"
She says, "Please, don't make me go back there again."

"Are bullies bullying you again?"

She said, "I wish there was some way to make them stop it."

"I know. Life is a little hard sometimes, you know?" (D/n) took in what her dad said nodded her head. "So we have to be strong and fix it."

The tears stopped rolling off the grey eyed girl's cheek after hearing her father's comforting words. "Can we fix it right now?"

If that's what you want, (d/n)-chan."

So he drives down to that principles office and says,

"May I speak to Takeda-sensei?"

"I didn't bring her up
So they could cut her down.
I didn't bring her here
So they could shut her out.
I lived my whole damn life
To see that little girl's smile.
So why are tears pouring down that sweet face?
She wasn't brought up that way."

The next day, (d/n) came home with a smiling face. The days after were joyful and fun. The father and daughter grew closer day by day, year by year.

He saw her mother's smile in (d/n) as she read her first book, rode her first bike, ate her first meal, and tied her first ponytail. Akaashi got used to seeing (d/n) smile each day after school. He loved the way she talked ever so brightly about even the tiniest things.

Emily's home late again
He sees that boy drive away

"Welcome back, (d/n)-chan. Did you have fun?"

Oh, but something's different this time,
She doesn't have too much to say.

Akaashi recalled the incident a few years ago. His daughter acted strangely quiet again, much like the previous time something went wrong. He gave her a comforting look into her eyes, those (e/c) which she inherited from her mother. (D/n), knowing that her father would be there for her, started talking.
