Well, I thought of doing critiques for stories since maraming nagrerequest na I should give it a try. Please follow me so that when I open the slots for critiques, you'll not miss it. 'Yung mga kwentong pinabilib ako ng husto ay ipluplug ko.
*** Hindi maipagkakaila na hindi na tulad dati ang impact ng mga Wattpad published books kaya naman naghinay-hinay na ang mga publishers mga 1-3 books lang ang inilalabas per month hindi kagaya noon na ang daming nirerelease per month.
POP FICTION "Marvelous transformation yet, something's not quite right." Ang ganda ng new format ng covers pero very dissapointed sa font styles/pagkalagay ng text in some books. I wish they didn't stop using text stroke since it prevents the text from being an eyesore by adding a complimentary color.

Examples Every Beast Needs A Beauty: I was very disappointed not with the illustration but the text. I recognized the font which is Times New Roman. A recognizable font means its commonly used. Parang nilagay lang out of nowhere 'yung title. They changed it in the reprint but it still looks so wrong. Sumablay din sila sa synopsis and content since ang dami nagreklamo sa comment section.
My Greatest Downfall/She's Dating the Gangster/The Nerdy Rebound Girl/Must Date the Playboy/Clash of The Campus Royalties: Examples of a rushed designed (probably) or a wrongly positioned text. Plus the some of the choice of colors didn't match the cover thus became an eyesore.
The Bad Boy's Love: I'm sorry to the "bammers" and "JeyDice" but the title was too large to be honest to the point na only the illustration of Candice and Jedyon are visible you could no longer see the scenery which adds to the appeal of the cover. I wished yung parang sa Good Girl's Revenge yung style ang ganda ng pagkaposition nung title sa cover plus good choice of font style hindi common and the colors blended magnificently with the cover.

Now do you see my point? They're still great but they are no longer consistent with the design of their covers because of the way they placed/designed the title text. Some covers are gorgeous, some are ruined because only because of that.
PSICOM "Hello natatandaan mo pa ba ako? Ako 'yung bumili ng isa sa libro niyo 2-3 years ago. 'Yung kasunod nasaan na?" Nakamove on na pala ang PSICOM sa Wattpad era. Hindi na Wattpad stories ang pinupublish I think?
Ito rin ang isang disadvantage ng hindi paglagay mg "Made popular by Wattpad" hindi mo alam kung Wattpad story ba 'yung pinublish so wala akong idea kung marami pa ba ang pinupublish nilang Wattpad stories. But hey, 2017 na pero tila may nakakalimutan ang PSICOM?
NASAAN NA ANG KATULOY NG MGA LIBRONG PINUBLISH NIYO? It was very wrong for them to publish a book, distribute it to the market, sold dozens/hundreds/thousands of copies yet they couldn't release it's continuation. 2017 na ngunit wala pa rin 'yung katuloy very unprofessional!
*To the solid fans of this publishing company don't reason out with me "Hindi pa kasi nagsusubmit ng Manuscript 'yung author." What was the contract signing for? As far as I know you sign a contract to work for a company and working means doing something productive. Kasalanan lang ba ng author kung bakit wala pa rin ang katuloy? And doesn't PSICOM know how DEADLINE works? *I've read some posts of authors from this company, whenever they are asked when will Book 2, 3 so on will be published the author replied he/she has already submitted the Manuscript and they just have to wait for PSICOM to publish it so what happened to those Manuscripts? Hindi na talaga ako magtataka kung bakit ang daming nawalan ng gana na magcollect ng Wattpad books. They invested their money hoping for a complete story to read in book form yet this is what they get? They do not deserve this.
LIB "Wow ikaw na pala yan!" Nakita ko ang covers ng mga recent published books nila and I am impressed may improvement! May unifomity na rin ang sizes nila at hindi na rin sila nagpupublish ng libro ng basta-basta. Hindi ko lang alam sa content kung may nagimprove since hindi pa ako bumibili ng Wattpad books nakikiupdate lang. Pero I saw His Into Her sa Pandayan and walang plastic 'yung mga books (Can someone confirm if the no plastic in the books LIB publishes now a days?) Kung ganun malulugi sila dahil madaling masira kasi naoopen ito ng mga tao. Sayang 'yung mga librong 'yon mabebenta pa sana pero nasira lang ng mga taong "free reading" lang ang ginagawa buti naman sana kung maayos nilang ibabalik pero 'yung iba hindi eh.
Also, same question with PSICOM, LIB nasaan na ang katuloy nung mga librong "to be continued" sa huling pahina? Meron na ba? Lahat ba ng librong pinublish niyo na divided into parts complete na ba?
PINK & PURPLE "Simplicity at its finest." Ang makamasang publisher. Ito na siguro 'yung Philippine publisher na sobrang economic ng price. Napabilib ako nito doon sa Once Upon A Fishball at Three Hundred Thirty Nine P200 para sa sobrang kapal na libro complete na. Mura ang kanilang mga libro. Sa halagang P100 or P150 P190-P200 para sa makakapal may libro ka nang complete. Kung may part 2 man, hindi humihigit pa sa Part 2 ang mga pinupublish nilang libro. They keep things simple by sticking with their format ever since.
