Nostalgia is a pleasant pain. On one hand, you feel happy remembering something: a part of your childhood, a favorite t-shirt from your favorite band you thought you lost, a good home cooked meal, etc. But on the other hand, it's painful: being in childhood was less stressful, you couldn't stay in the moment of that concert, and home cooked meals are impossible to make without the original chef.
~Yet, we should cherish the time we had. No matter how much we want to go back, we keep moving forward. It's always okay to be sad, but if we turn our sadness into hope, it helps us cope a little better.~
