January second, we celebrate the twins twelfth birthday. They gladly take the wooden dolls we made them by hand and happily teach us their traditions for their birthdays that their dad did for them. Chase laughs as he carries June around on his shoulders, a wide smile on his lips as Nathan does the same for August. I've never seen everyone smile as wide as they did in that moment. Asha was smiling as she kept us all warm by the fire, the boys running around with the twins on their shoulders.

I couldn't help but smile at it too. "And now," August giggled, Chase and Nathan putting the twins down. "Our aunts or Mom would sing us happily birthday," Chase looks at me, a soft smile on his lips as the twins run and smile at me. "Would you sing?"

"B-But I'm not a mom." I stammer out.

"You're the Mom, Chase is the Dad, Nathan is the uncle and Asha is the Aunt!" June smiles and nods with August. "Then me and June are the children!" I blink as Nathan picks up the glass of Jack Daniels and takes a long swing, nodding at me to start singing.

I lower my head, sighing and looking at the twins. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear June and August, happy birthday to you." They smile and hug me. I have to hiss for them to know not to touch my arm. They immediately apology. "It's fine, you forgot." I chuckle as the stinging pain goes down.

"Hey," Nathan says, catching our attention. "Who the fuck thought to name you two after months?"

"June was when our parents met and August was where they got married." August smiles.

"I was named after a planet." I take the glass from Nathan's hand and take a long swig, the Twins, Nathan and Chase's jaw dropping as I take a longer chug then Nathan did. Asha cheers me on as I drink half the bottle before handing it back to Nathan.

"You're going to be so hung over tomorrow." He laughs, taking a sip and passing it to Chase as my throat feels like it's burning from the liquid.

"I can handle my liquor, Nathan. There's a lot of shit you don't know about me." I lean my head against Chase as he sits next to me. He wraps his arm cautiously around me and kisses the top of my head. I smile at the touch, feeling safe in his arms.

The Twins have us participate in as many activities as we can on their birthday before they tucker themselves out and go to bed. Asha and Nathan crash asleep as soon as they reach their beds, which Nathan stood with the passenger seat. Chase and I stay awake outside, sitting by the ember glowing fire we put out.

"Hey," his voice is soft. "You're an alcoholic."

"No I'm not," I scoff. "I can hold my liquor." He chuckles and kisses the top of my head.

"Olive," he tilts my head up to look at him. His face glows against the glow of the embers. I softly smile as his fingers tangle with mine. "Can I kiss you?" I nod and he smiles and kisses me. I pull away soon after, making him pout. "No a really kiss."

"What do you define as real?" I chuckle as he tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Tongue..." He blushes as the word leaves his mouth. "N-Nevermind. It's stupid."

"Y-You can kiss me without asking Chase." He looks down at me. "You can just kiss me, you don't need to ask."

"Yes, yes I do." He squeezes my hands.

"Why do you need to ask?" I chuckle. His fingers gently pull my face to his, his lips warm against mine, then pulling away and resting our foreheads together.

"Because if I don't I don't know when I'll stop." I stare into his eyes, pushing him away and mentally screaming.

"God! You horny fucker!"

"Do I have a boner? No!" He throws his arms in the air as I roll my eyes, his scanning me up and down.

"Stop mentally undressing me!" I push at his chest and stand up. "God you pervert."

"I'm your boyfriend!"

"That still doesn't give you a right!" He goes quiet, a smile on his lips.

"But I am your boyfriend right?" He asks, I roll my eyes, grab him by the chin and kiss him, pulling away and dropping his head as he stares at me dazed, his fingers trailing to his lips.

"Does that answer that question?"

I want to wake up to see you peacefully sleeping, and to see your eyes open to a beautiful blue color

I'm in a foreign bed, in clothes I've never worn and in a room completely white. I sit up slowly, holding my arm to my head and groaning, pulling the blankets off me and standing up, glancing at the IV tubes in my arm. I look away and squeal as I pull them out. I scan the outfit I'm wearing before I stand. White mid calf socks, white shorts and a white tank top, the color of my black bra poking out of it. I look around the room I'm in and pull the white hoodie someone left on and over the fresh bandages.

I slowly stand up and walk to the door, pulling it open and walking out into the hall. In the hall it's grey, windows looking into rooms and doors that swung into the walls. I walk down the hall slowly, looking left to right and stopping as my eyes land on Chase on the other end of the hall. He quickly runs and hugs me tight. he peppers kisses on my cheeks. "I thought I lost you Olive..."

I slowly open my eyes, Chase's arm wrapped securely around my waist as I stare at the ceiling of the van littered with fairy lights and a tie dye blanket. I turn my head to Chase as he sleeps peacefully, the sunlight peaking through the windows of the van. I close my eyes and listen to him groan awake. He huffs softly, moving a strand of hair behind my ear. I slowly open my eyes and he smiles at me.

"Is this what you've wanted?" He nods and smiles at me, kissing the top of my nose.

"Yes," he chuckles. "All that's missing is the kids running and jumping on the bed to wake us up." I softly smile and kiss his nose. "Hey, when there's not snow on the ground, we should go on a date."

"What's wrong with a little snow in the ground?" I ask as he keeps his eyes locked with mine.

"It's cold, there's not much to do with snow on the ground," he kisses my nose again. "But in spring I'll bring you on the best date ever." He places his hand on my cheek, his thumbs gently caressing me. "When's you're birthday?"

"February seventeenth." He smiles and kisses my cheek. "When's yours?"

"January sixteenth." I gently kiss him and he kisses me back. I hiss and pull away as he touches my arm. "Oh! Sorry!" He whispers and I hold my finger to his lips.

"It's fine," I whisper. "Just hold me okay?" He nods and holds my waist, closing his eyes and falling asleep.
