Tokyo Ghoul: the Angel of Death (Touka x OC)

Chapter 2.5 (Flashback) hunting a Lantern part 1

-Three years ago: 13th ward-

"Bastard!" A ghoul yelled, Hanzo had entered the 13th ward in search of the Lantern Ghoul. To gather information on his quarry's whereabouts he was hunting down other ghouls, a task that had so far had little success. "The Lantern." Hanzo said coldly, "Where is she?" "Like I'd tell a bastard like you!" The ghoul spat, "Especially when you killed my guys!" "Tell me where Jack is and you'll live..." Hanzo repeated his question, "And don't try to fight me...it'll only end poorly for you pal." The ghoul however didn't heed his assailant's warning and charged him. Big mistake, Hanzo grabbed the ghoul's fist before performing a judo throw sending the sorry excuse of a ghoul into the ground...hard. "Dumbass...next time listen to someone's warning baka!" Hanzo snarled, he still had the ghoul's arm in a deathgrip, so as a warning he yanked it to the wrong side. A sickening snap was heard followed by a scream of pain. "Oh quit crying, there's about 200 bones in an average person's body, that's one!" Hanzo hissed, "Now I'm gonna ask you one more time...where is...THE RIPPER!!!!" "AT THE ALLEYWAY NEAR THE HIGHWAY!!! IT'S HER FAVORITE HUNTING GROUND THAT'S ALL I KNOW I SWEAR!!!" The ghoul sobbed, Hanzo stood up "If you're lying, I'm coming back to finish the job." Hanzo warned, he then hit the ghoul in the back of his neck using a karate chop. He then equipped his kakuja and jumped onto a building's outer wall, before going up (Prince of Persia style) he then heard three motorbike engines, and police sirens. "Idiots..." Hanzo sighed, the Angel of Death then moved across the rooftops following the bikers. (They'll be good bait.) Hanzo thought, the group passed by a schoolgirl who flinched, after awhile they had arrived at the alleyway Hanzo's comatosed informant mentioned. He then heard screaming and caught the scent of human blood...and pumpkin scented perfume. Hanzo smirked under his helmet like mask, he found his prey. He watched as a human hit Jack in the face with a metal pipe, Hanzo was shocked by this human's actions. "Ballsy...but stupid." Hanzo whispered, Jack then shot up doing a twirl then unsheathed her kagune, a bikaku. The kagune shot past the human and cut the girl's right eye open. Jack then went to kill the human male that hit her but the other male took the blow instead. Having seen enough Hanzo jumped down, landing with a soft thud. "Damn you!!" The human screamed, he ran at Lantern or would have had a hand not grabbed him and stopped him. "You got a death wish?" A voice said, the human turned to the voice's source...and his face paled, the 20th ward's Angel of Death was here in the 13th ward. "You'll die baka..." Jack was shaking in fear, every ghoul knew about this living nighmare of a SSS ghoul. The Headsmen, the Executioner, The Grim Reaper, but his most commonly known and feared name was the Angel of Death, but she would have to fight to escape. So she raised her bikaku into the air, (Here it comes!) Hanzo thought as he got into a combat stance. Jack had dug her kagune into the ground, as it reached its target Hanzo jumped to the side just as the thing burst out of the ground. Rushing the pumpkin masked ghoul who started lashing out in a stinger like fashion. Hanzo dodged the first few blows before jumping and landing on the bikaku, running across it before jumping then delivered a spinkick which connected against Jack's chest sending her flying backwards, rag-dolling for a good few feet before stopping herself with her kagune. Hanzo landed and unsheathed his own bikaku, the scythe like blade sheening in the moonlight. Hanzo looked up and saw Jack de-assing the area. Hanzo had to admit the pumpkin head was fast. "Hmm...I won't be catching her this time." He said to himself, "You human, what's your name?" The human jolted out his shocked state and answered the Angel's question "F-Fura!" Fura said shakily, "Right, an ambulence is on its way for your friend, I suggest you rest." Fura looked at Aki turning to see that the Angel was gone. Hanzo was on a roof, this was the closest he'd been to killing Jack and she got away! Frustrated though he was he didn't blame the humans. That Fura person would be a helpful companion...for now, but he was a CCG student, once Jack was dead his life would be forfeit, he didn't like it but it had to be done...whether he wanted to or not.

Done, this was my first flashback chapter so please tell me how I did. As always comment rate and leave advice so I can improve, next time the hunt for Lantern continues!
