Behind a smile is a story, whether they portray happiness or they hide sadness.

Jessica's life wasn't all that perfect as much as people thought as she smiled throughout the day as if everything were perfect to keep the unwanted questions away.

Her parents were rarely home ever since she turned thirteen,

She's in love with her bestfriend but can't bring herself to tell her bestfriend how she feels about her out of fear things wouldn't turn out they way she wants it to be,

Everything was bearable by then, but when a new girl bumps into Jessica, her life went from ordinary to complicated in a few seconds.

As I rounded a corner I bumped into someone.

"Ooff"

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry!" I said as I dropped to my knees to help the person up.

As I got closer I noticed that I bumped into a girl.

"It's fine." She said as she looked at me with a smile.
