(Y/n) walked out of the hide out to see her friend again he loves to play with her and have long conversations. He tends to play ruff at times and she often gets scratches but she forgives him either way.

"Buddy?!" She called out to him, his head pops out of a bush where she first found him. A fox. His red coat shine in the sun light yipping at her she laughs hugging him,"how you been? I've been great buddy!" He yips again saying the same. He doesn't have a proper name so (y/n) just named him buddy.

They played for hours his short stature matching with hers making them the best due ever made. (Y/n) and Buddy. Partners in crime, a familiar voice called her in for dinner. This was the hard part of their day. Forcing them to separate until the next,"you now what I'm not leaving you here you are coming home with me buddy!" She hugs him.

He shuffled in her sweater "shh we don't want anyone knowing you're here" she hushed him peaking her head everyone was in the dinner table but her father."hey there lil'guppy come over here!" Kisame shouted across the table patting the chair."I-in a minute-hehehe" "are you okay you seem....fatter" kakuzu pokes her stomach buddy shuffles she held tighter,"never better"

She ran in her room buddy jumps out running around her bed rolling up and down the bed."okay I'll bring you food. Be right back" she threw the blanket over him putting a pillow next to him to seem like another pillow. (Y/n) ran out immediately crashing into a soft stomach,"(y/n)-chan are you okay? Tobi is worried" tobi stood there globbing her in a hug strong enough to pop her eyes out,"I'm okay tobi-senpai" a repetitive yelping sound and scratching behind the door killed the silence catching tobis attention.

"(Y/n)-chan what's in your room Tobi wants to know" Tobi opened the door as buddy ran around his legs exciting the man-child,"Tobi-senpai don't tell papa please he will get mad" Tobi nodded pinky promising.

They went back to the dinner table eating Tobi jumping in his seat wanting to see (y/n)s friend again,"Tobi would you stop bouncing! It's moving the table! Hn!" Deidara shouted at him completely stopping him.

-night time-

(Y/n) snuggled in her bed buddy next to her freshly bathed and dried. "(Y/n) I brought-" Pein saw the small creature in her bed hiding in her covers."(y/n) take that animal out of here now" she only nodded knowing she wouldn't win the argument.

Buddy sat there staring at her with his ears pointing down."come on buddy you know I can't bring you in you saw how papa got" he got up bumping his head on her little leg begging not to let him sleep outside anymore.

"Come in buddy please don't make it any harder than it is..." he whined pulling her pj pants towards the door to go inside. She shook her head picking him up and into the bush where he would always wait for her till the next day.

She walks away his whines get louder trailing behind her."(y/n) it's time to sleep leave that animal outside" Pein called her from the door he noticed how whenever she would walk closer to him the fox would follow.

He sighed picking up the fox scaring (y/n),"NO! Papa leave him alone he's just a baby!" She pulled his pants kicking him to let the fox go but was picked up in the end,"he's coming inside if he behaves for the night then he can stay" she smiled hugging the fox,"thank you papa!"

They where placed in bed Pein pointed at the fox,"you better not pee in bed" buddy nodded shaking closely to (y/n).
