The Ploy

What should I do,
When a part of me still wants you?:
To apologize and love me even
After all, we've been through?
I used to sit silently in the blue abyss
Of darkness thinking of the feigned bliss,
The lies, the changes, the pain-
All parts of your silly game.

What should I do,
When a part of me still wants you?:
After you turned me into a lovestruck girl
Clinging onto a pretence world.
I was a bit blinded by your wrath
Of Godlike grandeur
After you jumped in my path, turned everything into a blur.
But I should've known it was a part of your plan
Embracing me into its trap,
Cause how do you love
A blithering fool
When does it mean losing everything just to hold on?

What should I do,
When a part of me still wants you?
I was one of your summer flings,
Locked inside a cold, hard cage
But now, I'm fluttering my wings
In the pure blue sky,
After learning not to hide
My pent-up anger and rage.

The depths of the colour red I know best,
It wants you to suffer and learn just like the rest
To feel your heartburn,
And know what's it's like being a toy,
Played with and destroyed,
And being a part of my twisted ploy.

So...what should I do,
When a part of me still wants you?
It's quite simple really,
Avenge the hearts and make you remember,
The cold biting wind of December.
