The High School Trap

During the exams,
You ask doubts to ma'am,
When your pen fails to work,
Your mind goes berserk.

You say your paper went well,
When you saw your results, your  face fell.
This is a true example of Expectations Vs reality,
It blows your mind, lowers your creativity.

In our school,
We want to act cool,
But in the end, we become the fool,
Between our mind and heart, there is always a duel.

You're late for the test,
The others laugh at you and make a jest,
Your mind wanders to going to a fest,
But for now, we need to study and give it our best.

Your parents stress you out,
They say,"stop fooling about!",
Your mind is filled with doubt,
Sometimes  you just want to shout.

Your teachers  say,"We've  done this before!"
You cannot reply, saying your head was sore,
The fact that their  lessons  were a bore,
Was enough to not make you want to study anymore.

Your friends say,"I've finished the course"
Wait, you haven't even started the chapter  'Force',
You're feeling a sense of remorse,
In your head you say, "Why do I always run away from my academic chores?"
