The boy walked over to the girl. He was trying to introduce himself. She was simply reading.
"Hi there."
She looked up, eyes wide as if she were expecting something.
"Hello."
Her voice was small. Normal, seeing as she was a shy girl.
"My name's Paperjam, PJ for short."
Her eyes seemed to dull slightly, as if an emotion had left, as did her expectation.
You promised me.
"(Y/N). I don't do nicknames."
(Y/N) averted her eyes, the (e/c) orbs leaving the skeleton in front of her. The movement displaced her (h/c) hair, making her small hand brush in behind her ear.
"I swear to god I've seen you somewhere."
Paperjam muttered quietly. Although he wasn't aware of it, the girl in front of him heard.
"What?"
"Have we met before?"
(Y/N) looked back to Paperjam. Her eyes still dulled but less so than before. Her attention was turned back to the book in her lap.
That you wouldn't forget.
"I'm not sure."
