"Hey, I already bought plane tickets," Shawn softly tells his girlfriend as she hangs up the phone after she talks to her sister.
Tears are rolling down Ember's face as she doesn't know what to expect when she gets home.
"It's going to be okay," her boyfriend whispers to her as she leans into him and cries.
"When's the flight?"
"Three hours, I'm going to go pack our stuff. My mom and Aaliyah will stay here with you while I do it."
Shawn leaves as Aaliyah and Karen enter the living room and immediately go over to Ember trying to soothe her.
"I can't have her die. It should be me not her," Ember sobs out in heartache.
