BEYS POV
Jay and Cole looked at me desperately waiting for an answer I look up into Jays eyes will a whole heart.
"They're yours Shawn." He released an almighty breath of relief and smiled. He leaned down to hug me and whispered in my ear .
"Thank you." He kissed my forehead before turning back to a disappointed Jermaine. "Anything to say now tough guy?" I allowed him this once because I knew that he was happy.
Jermaine looked at him bitterly and then at me.
"Congrats Bey." That was the last thing he said before getting in his car and driving off.
I expected this to change Jays attitude towards me that night, but it didn't. Without saying another word, Jay wheeled me back inside and left me with Kelly, but took Natalia over to the boys to tell them the good news.
Kelly Taraji and Michelle all pierced me with their nose eyes.
"Well?? Put the baby mama drama to an end who's are they?" Kelly asked. I smiled.
"Jays." Kelly and Michelle cheered but Michelle sighed and rolled her eyes. She reached into her pocket and handed a five to Taraji and Kelly.
"In your face Williams." Taraji yelled. I gasped and laughed at them.
"I know yall did not make a bet on who was the father of my baby."
"You can cry about it later. How'd you feel?" Taraji said.
"I'm happy, really I am. It's almost too good to be true." I told them.
"Don't go getting cold feet now Bey you know how much Jay wants this family unit to work." Kelly warned me.
"I wouldn't know he hasn't spoken to me since the funeral."
"Harsh."
"It's because he didn't want me to tell Jermaine the results of the test. He said he didn't want to know Them himself."
"What? Why? I woulda thought he would've been eager to known if that's really his flesh and blood." Taraji said, I shrugged. "I guess he was just scared that it wouldn't give the answer he wanted."
"I guess, but it's still no reason to be ignoring me on the one day that I needed him to be there for me."
"Oh so I'm not here for you now?" I heard a deep voice behind my head and I watched all the girls slowly back out of the room, giving separate excuses for their departure.
I turned around in my wheel chair and folded my arms looking up at him. He was looking down at me with a smirk.
"I ain't seen you all day so you tell me."
"You the one who's been tripping on me."
"That's just not true. Ever since we spoke in the car you been in your feelings. Even now that you know that Talia is biologically yours you're still giving me the cold shoulder." He chuckled.
"Bey, I can't lie to you, I was pissed that you been talking to Cole behind my back and I get frustrated when I see him for obvious reasons." He crouched down in front of me. "But right now I couldn't care less. I'm so overwhelmed with happiness Bey, I can't believe she's actually mine."
