Not saying anything you hugged him.
You felt so sorry that this happened, his father was the best man you could ever know.
"I am so sorry."
"Thanks."
And the two of you sat in grieving silence.
"Y/n I'm leaving,"Gilbert broke the silence making your stomach drop.
"Where?"You asked trying not to cry.
"I don't know yet."
Nodding you sat your head in his lap trying to cherish the very last moments you had with him.
You couldn't help but let the tears slip as he rubbed your head.
You thought this was the last time you would see him,
but it wasn't.
