I am not ashamed anymore
I want something so impure
You better impress now, watching my dress now fall to the floor
Crawling underneath my skin, sweet talk with a hint of sin
Begging you to take me
Devil underneath your grin, sweet thing, but she play to win, heaven gonna hate me

It's been a week since the incident at the Hale house with Peter and Kate. I went to meet with Mr. Heartman and his team. They liked my ideas and the songs that I have written and wanted to produce my album.

But that means I'd have to be away from my family for a while.

Scott stood in the doorway as I packed. I threw outfit after outfit on my bed before folding it and placing it in my suitcase,

"I can't believe you're leaving again." Scott sighed,

I stopped and turned to him, "But you know I'm coming back, Scotty. Plus being away from all of this will help my sanity." I joked, "I'll be back in no time. It's only eight months."

He was silent for a moment before walking closer to me, "How long have you been a werewolf? And why didn't you tell me?"

I turned back to my clothes, "About a week before I came back."

"Em, that was over a year ago."

"Obviously I couldn't tell you when I came home and I should have said something after you were bitten." I stated, "And I'm sorry, Scott. I really am."

"Just no more secrets, okay?" I turned to look at my brother before hugging him,

"I promise."

When I was all packed, I hugged my family goodbye. But it wasn't forever. I'll see them soon enough. I just want to do what's best for me. And right now, that's leaving to focus on my career for music.

I got into the car I bought and began to drive away, my family in the rear-view mirror. I found myself driving to the Hale House and getting out. The door squeaked as I opened it, revealing the nearly destroyed house,

There was a presence behind me, but I wasn't scared. I knew who it was,

His breath was on the back of my neck, making me shiver, "Derek-"

"Don't you want the bite?" Derek whispered, running his hand up my arm, "Don't you want to be like me?"

"No." I whispered, closing my eyes as I felt his claws dig into my arm.

"Why, Em? Why don't you want this power?" Derek questioned and I grabbed his hand, digging my own claws into them,

"Because I already have it!" I yelled, turning around and revealing my canines and my blue eyes.

His red eyes widened as he took in my appearance, "How long?" He asked softly,

"De-"

"How long!?" Derek pushed me back into the wall and I winced, "Don't make me ask again!"

"A year after I left you!" I exclaimed pushing him away from me, "I was in the woods and I was bitten."

"By who?"

"I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?" Derek questioned, walking towards me once again,

"I mean, I didn't get to see who it was. I ran off before I could find out." I answered, "Look, Derek, I just came to say goodbye."

"You're leaving?"

"Not forever. I just need to do something good with my life." I stated before Derek grabbed me and kissed me. I let it go one for a few moments before pushing him away roughly, "Don't do that!"

"I thought that's why you came here." Derek stated, his eyebrows furrowed,

"No! I just wanted to say goodbye, like I said! You can't just kiss me!" I exclaimed,

"Why not?"

"Because you broke me, Derek Hale! You broke my heart, and you don't get to pretend like you didn't just because it's easier for you." I growled at Derek before leaving the Hale House.

I got into the car, tears running down my face as I started it and drove off. Leaving Beacon Hills once again.
