Chapter 9

Marinettes POV

We got in the limo and drive off to the palace
As soon as we get there we see my parents organizing something in the garden
"Mom , dad!" I said and ran to them to give them a hug
"Uh mom , dad , this is Emily princess of.."
"ITALY!" They both say
"Oh you guys know each other" I said in realization
"Yes we do , you can sleep in marinettes room tonight Emily ,Mari your classmates are in the music room having a talent contest I think"  my mom said
" oh okay mom , thank you" I thanked my mom and ran off with Chloe and Emily by my side
I suddenly stopped , letting my moms news flow through me and I grinned.
Chloe got the message and grinned as well
So did Emily and started grinning
"Can you guys sing?" Emily asked us
"You bet we can sing Em and Mari has an amazing song that we can sing!" Chloe said
"Awesome Chloe , you write songs marinette?!" Squealed Emily
"Yeah I do, do you guys really want to sing it?" I said ,worry in my voice
"Of course we want to!!!" Screamed Chloe and Emily
We all started laughing
" okay me and Chloe know the song and here is some lyrics for you Em." I said and pulled a sheet of lyrics from my bag
"Thanks marinette , okay I can sing soprano" said Emily
" I can sing alto" said Chloe
"And you marinette can be the lead singer!" Squealed Emily
" that's a great idea Emily" Chloe said
" okay then guys , I'll do it , but let's hurry so that we can get there" I said and we all started running towards the music room.

When we got there , my class was about to start and I heard the winner gets to go on a shopping spree in the USA
Pretty cool right and my teacher was judging!!

Here are the contestants
1. Juleka and Rose dancing
2. Alix and Kim doing gymnastics
3. Mylene and Ivan doing a slow dance
4. Lila and Sabrina singing
5. Nathaniel playing the piano
6. Adrien , Alya and Nino singing
7. Me , Emily and Chloe singing

We were last , ah great!

The first contestants were Juleka and rose
There dance was pretty good
It was ballet and it was quite beautiful

Next was alix and Kim
It was okay but us princesses are more flexible

Next was Mylene and Ivan
It was so beautiful , the music and the way they danced showed that they were in love

After them was Lila and Sabrina
It was terrible , they couldn't hit the high notes

Next was Nathaniel and wow he plays really good
He played dark horse
It was amazing

After him was my enemies
Alya,Nino and Adrien and wow that was absolutely....TERRIBLE
They didn't harmonize well at all

And now it was finally us
I was so nervous
We got on stage
Music started to play
And we started

When we finished singing
Everyone had the most shocked expressions anyone has EVER seen!!
My teacher got up and clapped for us
Everyone looked at us with shocked expressions
When I saw Adrien he looked like he was in love
Aghhh that's not possible besides he was mean to me for decades so I don't love him back at ALL!
He left me as chat noir and as Adrien so I absolutely hate him!!
He broke my heart and besides I like prince William of Japan
He is my Prince Charming

Adriens POV

When the girls finished singing i couldn't stop staring at marinette
She was such a good singer and she's pretty
ADRIEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING
YOU HATE HER!!

Marinettes POV

My teacher got up on stage and started talking
" thank you everybody for entering , we will now hand out the separate awards and then we will give out the USA award"
Everyone looked excited
" okay the award for best dance piece goes to.....Ivan and Mylene!"
Everyone started clapping for them
"The next award is the best gymnastics award and it goes to alix and Kim"
Everyone clapped for them as well
"The next award is for participation and it goes to Nathaniel"
Everyone did a standing ovation for him
"The last separate award is for the best singer group and it goes to......marinette , Emily and Chloe"
Everyone gasped
We walked to the stage and received our trophy

"And finally can these groups come to the stage , Adrien and his group and marinette and her group , one of these groups won the prize to go to the USA for a shopping spree and it goes to......MARINETTE AND HER GROUP!!"
We were so shocked
And so was Adrien, Nino and Alya
They possibly thought they were gonna win
We excitedly took the tickets and skipped off the stage
My teacher told adriens group to get off the stage as well
They were still in shock
Me and my friends tried not to laugh
My teacher spoke again
"Okay everyone you can now get some rest , tomorrow is the princesses coronation and all of you have dresses and suits right" we all nodded
"Great then tomorrow you can wake up late and the maids will help you get ready for the coronation and ball"
We all were excited especially me
Soon I'll be crowned princess of this land
Me and my Bff's ran to my bedroom before anyone could stop us and locked the door
We asked the maids to bring us some dinner which was chicken schnitzel, fries and a salad
After that we got ready for bed and took some beauty sleep because we are definitely going to need it tomorrow
