The Poison (Chapter 1)

Brother's bond

Hayato seemed glad that he could hug his brother, 'if only I wasnt so obsessed by getting rid of my powers, i'm such a monster.' 

He regretted every single thing, all he wanted was to be accepted to the society. Since young he has been struggling to survive on the streets, everyone hated him. He was never noticed by a person before. All these years he felt invisible. One day he saw his younger brother from the tv, he seems to be doing well, he has so many friends, everyone loves him... but why not me. Hatred began to consume him slowly, he didnt care about anything else, he just wanted to get rid of these stupid powers so that he can be accepted by everyone, so that everyone doesnt hate him anymore.

"I-i'm so sorry." 

Eventhough everyone else still had deep anger to hayato, they also pitied him. So many mixed feelings in this dark small room.

Hayato started to cry, he knew no matter how much regrets and grief he showed, it wouldnt bring his baby brother back.

"I wish to get my baby brother back, even if it cost my life." 

Suddenly they saw a strong blue light  glowed from hayato's heart after he said those words. The glow seemed to be out of control, rays of lights are surrounding Tenma. Tenma chest was starting to glow just like Hayato! "What is happening?!" Kidou asked "i have no idea!"

Tenma and Hayato slowly float from the floor, a very bright blue light shine from both of them. No matter how badly everyone else wanted to see what was happening, but they had to close their eyes due to the bright light.

Not long after, the light was gone and they can see Tenma and Hayato falling from the ceiling. Tsurugi caught Tenma while Goenji caught Hayato. "Tenma.......?" Tsurugi called, hoping that Tenma is finally okay now. Tears are visible on his eyes, tsurugi almost never cried infront of the team before.  

*cough* *cough*

"Ngh...ts.....u..ru......gi." Tsurugi eyes went wide open. "TENMA! You dork dont scare me like that, i'm so sorry i didnt made a move earlier. Dont EVER LEAVE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN. I love you." Tsurugi pressed his lips against Tenma's. They broke the kiss because Tenma was coughing, he sounded terrible. Everyone ran to Tenma happily, they felt so relief knowing that Tenma is alive. "HE IS ALIVE!" Shinsuke shouted happily!

Tenma was so happy to see everyone again, then he turned his head and saw hayato on the side unconcious. "Ha....ya...to." Everyone started to stare at Hayato, honestly they dont know what to do with him, however their anger had lessen. "Geez this fella, if only he realised his mistakes earlier this wouldnt have happen." Matatagi said.

Tenma eyes are locked with his brother laying on the side. He pointed to his brother, tsurugi immediately understand what he meant, he lift Tenma bridal style and brought him next to hayato. Tenma shook his brother lightly.. "ni......san..." suddenly hayato made a soft moan, his eyes started to open, he was so shock to see who was beside him, instantly Hayato hugged his brother while crying. "I-i'm so sorry, you dont deserve this, you dont deserve this worthless brother like me, i should've been a great brother. I'm so sorry with all the trouble i put you through. I dont care if you hate me, as long as you are alive im grateful and happy enough."

"I..." more cough started to escape from Tenma's mouth, eventhough he is alive he seemed terribly exhausted like he could pass out any second. "Tenma."

"I...don...t....ha.....te....yo...u" Tenma gave a soft smile and passed out on Tsurugi's arm "TENMA. We need to bring him to the hospital NOW!"

Tsurugi started to carry his lover bridal style again to the caravan, kidou was supporting hayato by wrapping his arms around kidou's neck.

During the ride Tsurugi wouldnt stop looking at Tenma, he felt so relief. Tenma's head was on his lap. Around 15 minutes later they have finally arrived the hospital and Tenma was immediately sent to the E.R. While Hayato was taken to a normal room for checkups and cover his cuts and bruises. Everyone waiting patiently outside, they notice how extra worried tsurugi was, he couldnt stop moving around. 

Finally The doctor came out "he is going to be fine, although he needs alot of rest, no hard exercise, also it would be better if he stays with a wheelchair for awhile, other than that he is gonna be okay." Everybody sighed with relief. They saw Tenma going out from the E.R laying on the bed with and oxygen mask. They followed him to his hospital room. 

(A month later)

"MINNA!!!" Tenma shouted happily while going to the school field

"Geez tenma you should be at the hospital with your recovering theraphy right now." Aoi said

"I know but i felt so bored there...plus i miss soccer, you all and my tsurugi." Tenma smiled widely

Tsurugi's face blushed like a hot tomato, Tenma went nearer to him and gave him a sweet little kiss on the cheek, and that made tsurugi's face blushed even more. Everybody are just watching them while saying "awwwww..."

"Geez tenma! I was searching for you everywhere! You have to go back to the hospital to rest!" Hayato screamed while walking towards him. Ever since the accident happened the brothers re-unite and Hayato is becoming more protective than ever, he could even win for being the world's most protective brother. "But ni-san i was boreddddd and i want to play soccer!! Its been so long" tenma pouted. "NO." "PLEASE" "NO" "PLEASEEEEEEE" "NOOOOO"

Everyone giggled as they watch the two brother fight.

Tenma grabbed tsurugi's hand and started running away from the crowd, including his brother. "T-tenma where are we going!?" Tsurugi asked as he ran, Tenma just gave a smile.

Soon they reached the beach, the sun was setting, birds were chirping. 

"Isnt this nice. Finally some peace." Tenma said as he kissed Tsurugi's lips once again.
