:) Review!

Victor stood at the hospital window staring out into the sky. He watched as the sun began to set below the clouds turning them a slight shade of pink. Nevaeh's favorite color, he smiled thinking about how happy she would be to see them. He had left her with Summer, it took some convincing but he was able to assure her that Nikki would be fine and he would call when he knew anything. "Dad?" Victoria whispered. Victor turned to face her, "Sweetheart I thought I told you to go home?" "Dad, I'm not going anywhere. This family has been through enough. I'm not going anywhere." Victor smiled, she was stubborn just like him. "How is your brother?" "He's okay, Abby is with him now." Nicholas had been pretty shaken up the last few weeks and Nikki being hospitalized once again did not help. "Have you spoken to Billy?" He asked his oldest daughter. "No, I need some time away from Billy Dad. I don't know where we stand." "You can do better than an Abbott sweetheart." "Not now please." Victoria sighed, her father would never give up on telling her how worthless Billy was. He had proven himself when he lead them to Jack but now that he began to defend his brother Victoria did not know where their relationship stood. "Jack is being taken to the PCPD." Abby said as she rushed over to them. "It's about time." Victor growled. "Dad, I'm going to head over there. Jack may be my u cake but what he did is irredeemable." Victor looked st Abby, she had a lot of courage in her tiny figure. "It takes a lot of nerve to do what you're doing." He said wrapping her in a hug. "Nikki will pull through Dad." Abby reassured him. Victoria turned to see Nick approaching them, "Abby you call us with anything." He said. Abby pulled away from Victor and looked at her brother, "You do the same okay?" Nick nodded. As Abby was about to leave a familiar voice filled the room, "I'm here to pay my respects." The four of them turned to see Adam himself standing in the doorway. "She's not dead you son of a Bitch!" Nick shouted lunging for his brother. "Nick!" Abby and Victoria cured struggling to hold him back. "Leave it be son, he's not worth it." Victor said in a low voice. "Jumping to conclusions big brother." Adam mused strolling toward the group. "You're not welcome here Adam." Victor informed him. "What? Isn't this where all the Newman siblings are hanging out? Oh wait where's the perfect princess?"
"Don't you talk about Nevaeh!" Abby screamed slapping her brother hard across the face. Adam's hand rushed to his cheek, "Impressive little  sister" he laughed "but why are you here? Shouldn't you be on the Abbott side of this feud?" Abby but her lip, "No, as far as I'm concerned I am no longer a member of that family. What Jack did to Nikki is the most disgusting thing any human being could ever do." Victor watched as his middle daughter's tiny hands began to ball up into dusts. She was squeezing them so hard her knuckles began to turn white. "Come with my sweetheart." He said leading her over to the window.
Adam turned his attention to Nick and Victoria. "And you two, just when you thought your parents were going to get the happily ever after they deserve." "Will you just shut up you smug son of a birch" Victoria snarled "Adam you have nothing left. Your wife fled the country and you've exhausted all your resources to find her. Dad was going to give you the company but now I'm sure he is reconsidering that decision." Victoria's whole body was shaking, never had she been so infuriated by a person, and her own brother of all people was making her feel this way. "Just why would he do that? I'm the only Newman who has any interest in the previous company." Adam watched as Nick and Victoria shared a glance before Nick took a step forward. "We know you gave Jack the warehouse." He stated firmly. "What? That is nonsense!" Adam tried to brush it off but he knew it would most likely back fire. He had indeed given Jack the warehouse knowing all too well what his old friends Intentions were. He could have stopped the whole thing if he wanted to, redeem himself and become a member of the family for saving his father's queen but he didn't. Instead he watched from the shadows as Tucker and Genevieve played right into Jacks hands. Adam had to give him credit, Jack had quite the plan if it would have worked. His one flaw was letting his desire for Nikki get the best of him. "There's no use in lying Adam" Victor stated resuming his position next to Victoria. "Dad, that's not true. Jack will say anything to get out of what he did." Adam protested. "No that would be you. As far as I'm concerned I am still in charge of the company you worthless bastard." Victor stared at Adam with dark eyes. "So what are you just going to disown me?" Adam questioned. "From this moment on I only have one son. Nicholas, and he is twice the man you will ever be. Adam, you are dead to me." Adam glanced around at the faces of his brother and sister. From what he could tell they were just as shocked as he was. He had committed the ultimate betrayal, siding with Jack Abbott instead of his own father. "You will pay for this." Adam gritted his teeth as he glared at his father. Victor just shrugged, Adam could talk all he wanted but Victor wasn't worried.
That evening Victor entered Nikki's hospital room. She sat there hands folded on her lap gazing out the window. "Beautiful night isn't it?" He asked as he took a seat net to her bed. "It is." She replied just below a whisper. "I called Nevaeh and told her we would be home tomorrow." Nikki nodded her head, never turning toward him. "You gave her quite the scare my baby." "I imagine so." Nikki kept her eyes on the window as she played with the ring on her finger. That diamond was just a little piece of jewelry to the world but to her it was so much more. It was a symbol of how much Victor loved her. The two had shared over 30 of memories. They had been three beautiful children and now had seven investable grandchildren. She was proud of each and everyone of them. They had broken up and reunited more times than anyone cared to count. They had said and done things to one another that they both regretted. Their relationship was one for the books. It had been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. "Sweetheart" Victors soft voice broke her from her thoughts "what is it?" Nikki still kept her eyes on the window watching the stars in the night sky. Victor loved her, he truly did after all the years they had been together no man had loved her the way he had. Because of him she had become the lady she was today. If he still loved her after all the hell they had been through she knew he would stand by her now. Slowly she turned her head to face her husband tears welling up in her blue eyes. "Victor" she spoke slowly. "What is it my baby?" He asked his voice kind and gentle. "Victor, I'm pregnant . . . and it could be his."

BOOM THE END!

Let me tell you how much I love and approbate you all.  You are the most loyal group of readers in the world. This series is extremely near and dear to my heart. It took about a year but this book is finished! With that being said there are a lot of questions that still need to be answered like, will Jack be punished? Should Victor have taken Adam's threat seriously? But most importantly whose the baby Daddy? Poor Nikki I put her through so much in this series you would never guess she is my favorite character. This series will continue in the future I promise. I will however not be making any promises as too when. All of your predictions and ideas are welcome as always. Again I love you all and it is because of you that I find the inspiration and power to continue.
