There were moments when Joesph seemed almost childlike in his excitement. Usually, those moments happened when he was experiencing something from the 21st century that he hadn't before.
That day his excitement came from going to a new restaurant. He wasn't alone, having invited Fanny with him.
It was, of course, a pizza place. Pizza Hut to be exact.
He was practically bouncing on his way to the girl's apartment to pick her up. It wasn't a date thing, it was more like they both liked pizza and they both had enough money for half a pizza and they both decided that eating with someone is nicer than eating alone.
So he knocked on her door, waiting for her to be ready.
