It is what it is! (Kendall Schmidt Story)

Chapter thirty.

You and Kelly walked in your apartment and as usual, your cat came running towards you.
Kelly pet her and the cat seemed to like her a lot.
You quickly gave Kelly a house tour and explained her that you lived here with Martha.
"Where's Martha now?" Kelly asked as she sat down on the couch and drank her lemonade.
You chuckled, "At Logan's."
"Ooh that's right, should've known that!" Kelly replied.
You turned on the TV, grabbed your phone and ordered pizza.
"Ugh half an hour." you said as you hung up, "That's so looooong!"
Kelly chuckled.
"Isn't it weird to wat this show now?" she asked as BTR came on.
You nodded, "Kinda, but it's funny too."
Kelly asked you a few little things about you dating Kendall, dealing with Rushers and paparazzi (which you hadn't seen around you yet, so that was nice!) and you talked her through everything.
It was nice to talk to someone about it.
Someone who wasn't in the same boat as you were then.
It was also nice to talk to Martha, but she handled things her own way.
And very different than you did.

Pizza finally arrived and the two of you started eating while watching a chick-flick.
"This movie is awful, but I can relate to it." Kelly stated as you nodded.
"We can watch a different one, if you want?" you replied while walking to the DVD rack.
Kelly nodded and you picked a comedy.
A few hours and two movies later, you checked your watch and saw that it was almost 10 o'clock.
"Oh, I gotta get my laptop!" you said as you sprinted to your room.
"What for?" Kelly chuckled.
You opened it and said: "Kendall promised me to Skype at 10."
Kelly got up, "I think I'll be going home then."
You looked at her and smiled, "Seriously? I'm about to Skype with your idol and you're going home?! That's not the Kelly I know!"
She chuckled, "I know! But, you know. It's weird!"
You shrugged, "I don't mind and I'm sure Kendall's okay with it too. Just sit next to me and try not to scream too hard, okay?"
You laughed and Kelly quickly sat down next to you.
You logged onto Skype and clicked on Kendall.
He popped up and waved at you.
Kelly squeaked and you laughed.
"Hello babe, and friend!" Kendall said with a smile.
You chuckled, "Hey! This is Kelly by the way; she's a friend of mine and a big fan of you."
"Hi." Kelly mumbled with a red face.
Kendall asked Kelly a few plain questions, to make her feel a little less nervous and then asked you about your first day at school.
At your turn you asked him about work and his plans for the upcoming weeks.
Kelly was really excited, because she heard things to no one else knew and she nearly fainted when Kendall sang a few lines of a new song he was working on.

It was about 11 o'clock and you got a little tired.
"Kendall, it's getting late and I've got PE first thing tomorrow. So... yeah I gotta go!" you said with a sigh.
He smiled, "That's okay babe, I'll call you soon!"
You gave him a thumbs up and asked him when you could see him again.
"I think I have the whole Sunday off, as far as I know. But I'll let you know on time, okay?" he replied.
You nodded, "That's okay! See you soon, love you!"
Kendall smiled, "Love you too! And bye Kelly, nice to meet you!"
Kelly quickly waved at Kendall before he logged off.
You sighed, "I'm sorry, I'm really tired."
"No, it's okay. PE in the morning sucks!" Kelly replied as she got up.
You walked her to the door and she quickly gave you a hug.
"Thank you for that by the way, it was fun!" she quickly said.
"No problem, I knew you wanted it, haha." you said with a grin.
You wished Kelly a good night, walked to the bathroom to get ready for bed and quickly texted Martha with the question if she was coming home or not, so you knew if you had to lock the door or not.
You chuckled as you read her message, went to the front door and locked it.
While grabbing the cat, you walked to your bedroom and decided to read a little.
Your phone buzzed and you checked it:

-I already asked the manager; and I'm free this Sunday! :) You can even come over Saturday evening, if you want.. ;) x
-Awesome! Hm let me think about that. Uhm yup, I want that! What time do you want me to be there? x
-Six will do, we can go out for dinner! I mean, if you are up for that? :) x
-I'd love too :D I'll see you on Saturday, at six then! x
-Cool :) Sweet dreams, hun. I love you! X
