As a kid,
I was taught
that every endings
would be a good one.
Because Cinderella,
Belle, and
Snow White,
ended up living
happily ever after.
But when reality strikes,
my dreams and hope
are all crumbled.
It was the beginning,
that has happiness
written in it.
It was not;
"..they ended up living
happily ever after,"
instead it was
"They began living
happily ever after."
Because "happy"
doesn't recognize any
"ends".
And now little kids
would forever swallow
happily ever after
until they are kicked
by reality.
But we'll keep telling them
"..and they lived
happily ever after,"
as the tale that never dies,
but forever
will be a lie.
