My BBY looking fiiinneee.
----------------
I took a deep breath before stepping out of the sliding doors of the airport, trying to calm my unsettled heart. I hailed a taxi in the waiting area, flailing my arms like no one was watching. One finally got to me before I made a bigger humiliation of myself.
The man opened the trunk and I threw my suitcase in the back. I entered the right side of the car.
"Where will you be going young lady?" The man glanced at me on the rearview mirror.
"The Green Yeng Hotel please." I said, obviously tense.
He nodded, still looking at me through the rearview mirror, "Why so tense, young lady? You shouldn't stress. You won't age well if you stress."
"My parents are practically dying in the hospital. They got in an accident. I tried to get here as fast as I can. Tell me why I shouldn't stress.." I looked back at him.
His eyebrows rose, "Oh! I'm sorry young lady."
The taxi started to move and there was an awkward tension in the air. I could feel it and I'm pretty sure the driver could too.
After a couple of long minutes, the taxi finally stopped, signalling that we were there. I got out of the car and took my stuff out of the back before paying the driver and entering the hotel.
I got into the elevator and went up to floor 12, room 3. When I entered, I just threw my stuff on the bed and left for the hospital.
The hospital smelled of alcohol and medicine. I went up to the receptionist and telling her who I was, she smiled at me, telling me that she was the one I was talking to over the phone. Her smile dropped when I asked for my parents.
She looked down and coughed, "Well, um, they- we took them away last night. They passed away right after you called. We tried calling you again but you never picked up..."
I put my arms on the counter for support, my legs were giving up on me even though I was trying so hard not to fall. Tears threatened to fall down my face. I tried to fight them off but the tears won. I couldn't hold it in any longer.
The woman looked at me with pity in her eyes, "I'm very sorry ma'am."
I gathered up all my strength and picked myself up piece by piece. I nodded an thanked her before walking out of the front doors. I wiped my face with the back of my hands and headed for the hotel.
-------------
I swiped the key card for the hotel room. The doors familiar jingle rang. I pushed the door open and plopped myself down on the bed. The little bumps on the ceiling popped out more to my eyes. It was something that had always happened ever since I was little. Whenever I got sad, I would become more aware of my surroundings.
This sadness was something I had never experienced before. It felt like someone was continuously trying to put me down. Whenever I started to feel better, my mind would bring back memories and it will just push me back to round one.
I looked at my phone and searched for my friends name. As I was scrolling, I saw my father's name and it had broken my heart. It's had broken my heart because his number might still be there but no one will ever answer. I continued to scroll for my friends name. When I found it, I pressed on the green phone icon and the phone rang.
Once...
Twice...
Thrice...
"Hello?" A familiar feminine ran out of the phone.
"Anneyeong Hyo Ri.." I tried to hold back my tears once again.
"Anneyeong! What's wrong Aeri?" She asked with a hint of worry in her voice.
I laughed, a few drops of tears following after, "My parents died.."
I heard her gasp, "Oh! Aeri! I'm so sorry! Are you okay there?"
"Yeah...I'm in Korea actually," I replied, "Here in Seoul."
"Oh! Do you want to meet up tomorrow? We can talk about it!"
"Okay. That would be nice." I smiled, it was nice knowing that I had someone left.
"Meet me at the cafe tomorrow okay? 9:00. The one we used to go to in highschool."
"Gotcha. Thanks Hyo Ri." I hung up the phone.
I took a deep breath before heading for the shower. I twisted the knob and sat on the toilet next to it, occasionally checking if it was warm enough. Once it was, I stripped of my clothes and stepped in the shower. I made sure to clean my body thoroughly, knowing that the airplane was not the cleanest place to be.
I finished my shower and headed out. I put on my oversized, blue, fluffy sweater. It was a men's sweatshirt but it was comfy so I didn't care.
I crawled up the bed before snuggling up under the cold blankets. I would occasionally get used to it but for now, I had to deal with the cold.
My mind wandered off to some deep dark place in my head and before I knew it, my body was in deep slumber.
----------------
My eyes fluttered open due to the light shining on my eyes. I groaned, wanting to sleep more. I turned around and stayed there for a couple of seconds before yawning and checking my phone. My eyes widened at the time plastered across my screen.
8:45
I barely had time to get dressed. I threw off the blankets and rushed to the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and just splashed my face with water then moisturizer. It didn't feel nice since I was used to doing my whole routine. Dang these Korean skin care routines. I ran to my suitcase and threw on a pastel pink dress and white converse shoes.
I shut my door and rushed to the elevator, continuously pressing-no-punching the buttons. It was nearing 9:00 and I was running out of time. The elevator finally opened and there I saw a man with light blue hair and earphones on, his eyes closed and head leaning against the elevator wall.
I silently walked in, trying not to disturb him. I pressed the button and walked to the opposite side of the man as quietly as I can.
I grabbed my phone out of my bag and dropped it almost immediately. I cringed before grabbing it off the floor. I sighed in content that the man did not hear it-or so I thought.
"You're so loud." He said, eyes still closed.
"I'm s-sorry." I bowed.
His phone rang. I saw a picture of 6 other guys on his lockscreen. He answered the call. I could hear the guys from across the elevator from across the elevator due to their yelling.
"Yeah," he nodded his head, "I'm going to sleep when I get back there...No Hoseok...Jimin, let Hoseok talk..."
The door opened and I waited for him to get out. He slowly walked out of the elevator and disappeared into the crowd. I exited the elevator, taking a deep breath.

I sat down at the corner booth of the cafe, waiting for Hyo Ri. I looked out the window to my right, placing my chin on my hand. I watched as people passed by, parents holding their children, people laughing, talking...
I looked to my right and saw a familiar face walking into the cafe. A girl wearing a beige trenchcoat, black pants, and black turtle neck. Hyo Ri...
