"Uuuuuuggggghhhhh.." Natsu groaned.. his face looking like it was in absolute turmoil.. as if he were about to vomit at any moment...
"Wh-what's up with Natsu!? Is he dying!?" Pumkin stammered, looking thoroughly worried, as she looked near the back of the carriage.
"No.. he's just motion sick." said Lucy reassuringly. "looks like he ran out of the magic motion sickness pills that Wendy gave him.
"K-kill me.." Natsu rasped.
"Cho-po?" said Magetta, who was lumbering alongside the carriage, raising a metal arm.
"N-NO!! DON'T ACTUALLY DO IT!!" Lucy and Pumkin screamed, waving their arms frantically at Magetta.
"Oh.. Chop-o.." Magetta.
"Aye.. we might have to stop halfway to get Natsu a break.. or he'll be WAY too weak to fight Frost or whoever he's working with." said Happy.
"I was thinking that myself." said Erza. "Luckily.. I just recieved a message that might work in our favor.."
"Message?" said Pumkin. "What kind of message?"
Erza smiled. "We're not the only guild that got wind of all of Frost's antics.. taking down guilds.. A few more guilds have gathered to take on the task themselves. I just received a message that they're all gathering in the next inn nearby.. if we form an alliance, we should be able to put an end to Frost's antics."
"Other guilds?" said Gray. "Which ones?"
"Master Bob sent some members of Blue Pegasus.. " said Erza. "And then there are also Lyon and Jura from Lamia Scale!"
"Lyon huh?" said Gray with a grin. "Huh, been a while since I've seen that guy.."
"You know him?" said Pumkin.
"We were both students of the same master who taught us our Ice Maker Magic." said Gray. "it's going to be good to see him again.."
"I've never actually met other magic guilds before.." Pumkin muttered. "I wonder what they're like.."
"Really?" said Lucy.
"Yeah, I was sort of a shut in.. since my whole temper and destructive power was bad for tourism in town.." said Pumkin. "So the mayor made sure I never went outside the restaurant usually.. most of the outside world I usually saw was from Sorcerer Weekly Magazine now and then when I could scrounge one up.."
Lucy frowned looking seriously concerned. "Pumkin.. just.. what kind of childhood did you have?"
"Not an ideal one I'm guessing, but my Pops took care of me best he could despite all that." said Pumkin. "So I have no regrets..
Pumkin smiled. "Anyways.. enough dwelling in the past.. I mean what a day! I brefriend a giant robot, I'm on an adventure! And Natsu's too motion sick to irritate me!! Come on!"
Lucy smiled back. "Pumkin.. if more people had that kind of attitude towards life.. it would be wonderful.. despite the fact everyone says you're a delinquent, you really are a happy person aren't you?"
"They say WHAT about me!?"
"N-nothing!"
"We're here." said Erza, pulling to a stop in front of a large wooden house on the side of the road.
"OHO!! I'm excited to meet the other guilds!" Pumkin exclaimed. "What will they be like I wonder? They might be the complete opposite of Fairy Tail!"
"Cho-Po?" Magetta muttered at the word 'opposite', as a thought bubble formed over his head and the image of a girl Natsu and Gray, and a boy Pumkin, Lucy, and Erza entered his mind.."
