"Hey, Mom, can I have ten bucks to go to a movie tomorrow?"
"What do you think I am, made of money?"
"Isn't that what 'MOM' stands for?"
*Gives disappointed look* "Ask your dad when you get to his house tonight."
*Later but still earlier*
"Hey, Daddy, can I have ten dollars to see a movie?"
"No."
"Please, daddy?"
"I said, 'No.', what, do you think money grows on trees or something?"
"What's money made of?"
"Paper?"
"Where does paper come from?"
"...Go to your room."
"But, I have to take a shower!"
"Then, take a shower!"
