Late Bloom *Completed*

A welcomed guest

Ash dropped his travel pack at the front of the door to the house and removed his shoes. "Could you please show me the bathroom, I would like to clean up."
Clemont pointed to the stairwell, "just up the stairs, third door on the left. My room is the first door and you can place your things there."
Ash gave a winning smile, "sounds great. Thanks." He picked up his pack again and went up swiftly.
Clemont sighed and sat down as he had been waiting to do in order to collect his thoughts. He had not expected Ash to have come out of the blue, so all he could do was offer a place in his home for Ash to stay. The crazy race of his heart went wild as he thought about Ash in his room tonight and he felt ashamed to where his thoughts went.
"Hey!" A voice behind him made Clemont jump out of the chair in shock.
"Ahhhhhhh!" Clemont had felt like his thoughts were making his anxiety increase.
"Whoa. Chill out bro." Bonnie just shook her head at her spaz of a brother.
"Oh, Bonnie!" Clemont breathed out. "You shouldn't sneak up on me."
Bonnie laughed, "jeez your extra jumpy today!" Then she pointed upstairs, "I'm a little concerned with whose using our shower when your down here and Dad's away."
Clemont reclaimed his composure, "we have a guest, so be on your best behaviour."
Bonnie crossed her arms, "I'm not a kid anymore."
"Your my 'kid' sister." Clemont ruffled her styled hair, "Ash has come to town and will be staying with us."
"Ash?" Bonnie fixed her hair, "that's wonderful....plus you can finally tell him."
Clemont heard the shower turn off, "tell him what?"
Bonnie winked, "that he's your keeper, silly."
"Bonnie!" He blushed such a deep red.
"You better get a good meal on to feed your sweety." She made kiss sounds.
"Plus, I'm hungry."
Clemont frowned as he went into the kitchen, he loved Bonnie especially since she had been so supportive when he had come out as gay but he didn't want her to embarrass him in front of Ash. He sweat at the image of Bonnie getting down on one knee and telling Ash he was a keeper like she had so many times in the past. First it had been girls when he was too young to define his sexual orientation but after he came out she had done the same to a few boys with mixed results. If they had been straight, which was most of the time, they got a funny look and if indeed they were gay Clemont was too shy to follow through.
It as though Clemont had always been waiting for Ash even though he never really knew how he had truly felt. Clemont had only pinned after that one night....
