Chapter XXVIII: Jedi Battle

Boba was scared to see his father being threatened with a weapon like that of a lightsaber. Dooku only knew one Jedi Master who would wield such a rare blade.

"Master Windu." Dooku greeted, a Mace looks at him in, ready to kill Jango. "How pleasant of you to join us."

"This party's over." Said Mace.

"Brave, but foolish my old Jedi friend. You are impossibly outnumbered." Said Dooku. Suddenly, a large amount of blue and green lightsabers were ignited from around the arena, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padmè, and Owen were surrounded by Battle Droids, That were now surrounded by Jedi. Knights, Masters and their Padawans, members of the Jedi Council, they were everywhere, as almost every single Geonosian immediately flew away from the arena. Mace left a brief smirk on his face.

"I don't think so." Said Mace.

"We'll see." Said Dooku, as Marching was heard from behind the balcony, Mace took his purple blade away from Jango, and got into a defense position. They were dark bluish grey Battle Droids, only bulkier, and their heads were attached into their torso, with a red circle on the right side of their chest. They pointed their left arms and shot blaster fire out of them, as Mace deflected every single shot with his blade. Jango then used the flamethrower from his wrist gauntlet as it shoots out a large flame at the Jedi who jumped back from the balcony as his cloak was caught in flames, and throws it as he prepares for battle. The four of them see the Jedi of the arena assemble behind them.

"Get to somewhere safe." Said Anakin, as Owen and Padmè run to find cover. Anakin, Obi-Wan, and the rest of the Jedi, led by Mace Windu, charge against the army of battle droids, as they begin to slice down every single droid into scrap metal. Blaster fire was deflected by many lightsaber blades. Owen shoots down a battle droid, as Padmè manages to grab the droid's blaster and begins shooting down as many Droids she can take down. Anakin strikes down a battle droid as he manages to help out Padmè and Owen, sonic cannons were fired as Jedi were sent flying back. Jedi Master Coleman Trebor jumped on to the Dooku's balcony, ready to use his green lightsaber to strike him down, but Jango Fett used one of his twin blasters to shoot him down, as he falls from the balcony. Obi-Wan and Mace deflected blaster fire side by side. More Battle Droids were marching in, including the new Super Battle Droids. Suddenly the Reek wakes up from it's nap as it uses it's four legs to get up from the sand, and runs across the arena, destroying anyone in it's path once more. It then spots Obi-Wan and Mace as it decides to run toward them. Mace runs away as Obi-Wan manages to jump out of the way as it begins to chase down Mace, who then slices his blade across the Reek's face as it collapses, causing Mace to be knocked back, letting his Lightsaber fall out of his hands as the blade retracts.

"Don't worry, I'll be back soon." Said Jango, as he finishes saying goodbye to his Son, he then turned to Dooku. "Take care of my son." Said Jango, as he used his Jet pack to fly over the balcony and onto the arena, where he spots a lightsaber hilt. Jango leaps for it, but it was then pulled back into the Mace's hand as he ignited his blade once more. He then sees the Reek Charging behind him, but Jango used one of his twin pistols and shot it in the forehead, as the creature collapses. Jango then sees Mace coming from behind. He shoots fire at the Jedi, who deflected every shot, but managed to use his Jet Pack to fly out of the arena, leaving his son behind.

Blast him!" Yelled a Battle Droid as Kit Fisto, a Nautolan Jedi Master, dodged blaster fire, and managed to force push the droid backwards, as he quickly smiles, and gets back into the fight.

Anakin and Padmè fought side by side, killing every Battle Droid in their path, Owen was next to them, covering them both. Suddenly, the Jedi surrounded the center of the arena, shooting down, striking down, or deflecting fire against the Battle Droids. Dooku, from the balcony, then signals all the Battle Droids to stop firing, the whole arena was silent, and was covered in dead Battle Droids, and deceased Geonosians, but a lot of Jedi have been destroyed in the process. All that was heard was the humming of the Jedi's lightsabers.

"Master Windu!" Yelled Dooku, breaking the silence. "You have fought valiantly, worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi Order. Now, it is finished, surrender, and your lives will be spared."

"We will not be hostages to be bargained, Dooku!" Yelled Mace.

"Then, I'm sorry old friend." Said Dooku, as the droids then aimed their blasters once more, but all the Jedi were ready to fight back, and Padmè and Owen aimed their blasters at the nearest droid they could find, one sudden attack and the battle will continue again.
