My hands were totally fidgeting as I waited for a knock on my door. I knew that Nina was almost here, and I was slightly nervous out of my mind. The fact that I was meeting Nina made me so anxious that I thought my heart was going to burst from it's incessantly rapid beating in my chest.

I intertwined my hands and tapped my heel against the hardwood floor as I awaited for the dreaded knock. Not that meeting Nina was a dreads experience, but I was terrified that I'd make a horrible first impression for her. I mean, she was one of my best friends from the group chat.

I absentmindedly bit into my thumb nail and chewed anxiously, keeping my eyes on the door but wandering around slightly, trying to take my mind off of it.

Then there was a knock.

I stood up from the bar stool and approached my front door hesitantly. Nina would be behind that door, and I was about to lose my mind.

I pulled the door open to see a familiar blonde beauty standing beside Nina. A smile spread across both of their faces as Nina squealed and pulled me in for a tight hug. "Oh my god!" She whispered, sounding out of breath. "Claire, you didn't tell me she was hotter in person! Girl, you look fine as hell!" Nina stepped back and looked me up and down.

"Me? What about you? Damn, Mami!" I laughed, eyeing her.

"As much as I love your bonding, can we come in?" Claire asked impatiently. I rolled my eyes playfully and pushed the door open wider, so they could come in. I closed the door behind them and turned around to see them.

"Okay," Nina all but yelled, falling back into my couch, "what's first in the agenda?"

"Dress shopping." Claire answered immediately. Nina and I both looked at her with confused expressions. "You don't know?" She asked.

"Obviously not. Hence the confused faces." Nina said, her hand making a circular motion near her face.

"Our cast and crew have a fun dance every few months to celebrate the hard work and fun that we have on set. It's this weekend." Claire explained, raising her eyebrows. "And here I thought Daniel and Joseph were arguing over asking you. "Maybe they were talking about someone else. Huh."

I felt my face flush. "Okay, I say we do it." I said with a wide grin.

"Really?" Nina asked.

"Yeah. I could use a night out with my best friends. You'll be there, right, Nina?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows towards her.

She groaned, "Yeah."

"Great." I squealed, clapping my hands. "Let's go."
