Sophia??

I was walking in the woods with my red bow and arrow ready to be use when needed to.

I've spent most of my days trying to find a safe place to stay for a couple of months but I noticed there really isn't a safe place for me and my brothers to go anymore

As I was walking up the steps to our cabin we've been staying in for a couple weeks i heard the sound of crying

I ready my bow,just in case there was someone dangerous in the cabin

I open up the cabin door slowly only to find a little girl with strawberry blone hair a blue shirt and brown pants in the corner of the room crying

When I step on the cabin floor it made a creak sound which had alerted the little girl

When she looked up she started crying more and started backing up into the corner more saying 'please don't hurt me', I put my bow down and put my arrow back in the punch on my back and said,

"Hey I'm not gonna hurt you" I say in a gently voice reaching my hand out to her to show I mean no harm

"In s-sorry I d-didn't know someone was s-staying here sorr-" she say in a shaky vocie I cut her off by saying

" get it's okay I'm not going to hurt you I promise" I say crounching down infront of her.

"Are you hunrgy" I ask she nods her head I take my bag off in dig in there to find some corn and a water bottle   " here eat this the we can talk"

After the little girl that looks about 12 was done eating she started to talk with no fear in her voice but confidenince" my name's  Sophia what's yours" she asked shyly

"My name's Hayden I have two brothers but their hunting right now their name is nathan and adien" I tell her with a gentle smile

" what are you doing out here by yourself with no weapons or food" I asked confused because she literally has nothing but the clothes on her back,like what the hell

" I was on the highway with my group and a herd of walkers came by and two of them chased me into the woods then I got lost" she said with sad teary eyes

I couldn't help but feel like I should help this little girl and that something good is gonna happen.

"Hey it's okay me and my brothers will help you find them when they get back just lay down and get some rest" I said pointing to one of the beds in the corner of the cabin

She nods her head and walks over to the little cot and falls asleep

A couple hours later my two brothers wall in bloody and wounded

" what the hell happen" I asked in a panic but low voice so i dont wake up spofia

" chill lil sis just a couple of walkers and a few bad people" ethan  said like it was nothing at all, but what can I say it really isn't nothing we go through it everday

"And why the hell are you whispering anyway" my stupid brother grayson ask

I point to where Sophia is laying sleep "I found her in the corner of the cabin crying she lost her group on highway 69 I told her when you guys came back we can help her" I said looking at my younger brothers

"And why in the hell would you do that" both of them ask which is really annoying some times but all 3 of us seem to do it a lot,we can't help it

" because she scared and alone why wouldn't I. I just wanna help out please"  I asked/said with the b3est puppy eyes I could make

"Fine but after we find them we're gone" my brother grayson said

"Okay fine get some rest then we start sreaching tomorrow at morning light" I say they nod and lay down

I got to miles cot with him and cuddle and fall into a deep sleep
