~ August 8 1957 Derry Maine~
"Mom do I really have to go!" You mumble as you brush your hair.
"Sweetie please it will be fun, you'll meet new friends." My mother says as she puts away some towls.
"I was better off at my old school!"
"Y/n honey please I know your still upset but I needed to take this job.:
"Fine." I get out of the bathroom as i get my backpack.
"Be careful sweetie!" My mom says.
" I will." I close the door as i walk to the bus stop.
As I walk to the bus stop it starts to rain, I see 2 kids waiting there. A little boy wears a yellow poncho as the other kid wears a black jacket. I see that the little little boy in the poncho has a paper boat.
"Look at what my brother made me!" The little boy says.
"Georgie don't bother the young girl." The boy in the black jacket says.
"Its fine." I said as I look up at the kid.
" My name is Bill and this is my little brother georgie!" Bill says.
"Nice to meet you both my name is Y/N. I just moved here so I am new to this town."
"Well I gotta tell ya y/n strange things happen in this town. One weird thing is that there is a lot of rain."
I laugh a bit as I look and see that the bus was coming.
When the bus arrives we get on as i follow Bill and Georgie to the back of the bus. I sit with him as he tells me about the school and about this town. My mom was right about me making new friends. Bill was a ingesting kid as I can tell he was very protective over his little brother. As the bus drives on bill shows me all the wonderful sights of the town. I think I'm gonna like it here.
