Bill's POV
"God Damnit!" I yelled in frustration and threw the books off the table. Why can't I find anything?! I don't want to have to turn my wife! There has to be another way. I thought.
"Bill? Are you alright dear?" I heard my mom say coming into the library.
"No I'm not! My wife is pregnant with my children that are due soon and if I can't find another way to save her she'll die! I don't want to turn her mom! I would become human if it meant I could save Courtney." I said with tears in my eyes.
"Bill even though I am completely against the idea. Have you tried the Forbidden Spells book?" My mom said and I looked at her in shock. Why didn't I think of that?
"Of course!" I thought and got on the ladder and climbed to the top of the book shelf and grabbed it.
I then opened it as I sat at the table wiping my tears.
"Bill please. Don't use that book. I know I mentioned it but those spells always come with a price." My mom said with worry in her voice
"I know but I want my children and wife to live!" I yelled and looked through the book.
"Bill it's dangerous! That's why they are forbidden spells!" My mom yelled
"I don't care! I will save my family!" I said and found something about humans and demons.
"It says here that other creatures can be with others but humans and demons are forbidden due to the power the demon can possess. When a demon and human mate their child inherits the demon blood of the demon parent and it's strength it possesses takes over the human part instantly killing the mother in child birth. The only way to change such events from happening is to see the witch of change." I read.
"Bill no you can't! I forbid you from going to see her!" My mom said
"But mom if it's the only way to save Courtney I have to go!" I said.
"Fine but be careful and if you are unsure about a deal from her don't take it!" My mom said worried.
"I'll be fine. Please watch over Courtney and make sure Tom doesn't do anything." I said and got up and left to face the witch of change.
