He warned me,
Told me not to break you
Or shake you up.
But who's breaking?
Who's heart is ripped in half?
It's certainly not you
For I treat you better than I treat myself
And I love you harder than everyone else,
Yet, I'm the shattered one.
People thought you'd be the shattered one.
You know it's always me.
You barked up the wrong tree.
I'm already under fire,
Always been so undesired.
They say they want me, need me,
But they don't treat me as sweetly.
You lied to my face
And this is the price I pay
For believing you.
I'm the only shattered one.
Don't you look at me that way.
You aren't the one crying every night.
You know I love you and I'd never leave you
No matter how you poison my soul.
Keep em coming,
My masochistic ways are leaking.
You're the only one worth this weeping.
I'm the only shattered one.

My Poems
PoetrySome poems I've written and had nothing else to do with them. I hope you enjoy them. Most of them are sad, so this is a warning! I'd be very grateful if you'd leave comments about them and maybe even suggestions! Thanks for reading!
