at these awards, we don't work with genres, instead, there will be categories that you can choose which best describe your book. i'm guilty of dismissing a story because of a genre it might be placed in so -- to prevent any bias -- genres will not count but books will be judged by the provided category for round one which will be judged by me. i have however, placed the genre it could be a part of to guide if you're a little confused.
