ERIN GOT IN HER CAR AND FIXED THE REARVIEW MIRROR. She buckled in her seatbelt and put the silver key in the ignition. A small smile crept on her lips, she was finally leaving the god-forsaken town known as Mystic Falls. She had been wanting to leave ever since she started high school.

Two weeks had passed since she graduated and she was going to leave and explore the country. She didn't want to go to college and live an unhappy life. She wanted to travel, explore, do things she never imagined doing. College wasn't for her and while many were disappointed-she didn't care.

Erin rolled down the window so that the wind would hit her face. She pressed the gas pedal and started driving. The wind blew through her ebony hair and the cool air hit her face.  She saw the pedestrians walking along and children running around the town square.

The girl grinned, flashing her pearly white teeth as she pulled towards the Wickery Bridge. Erin heard her phone ring and she looked towards the passenger seat, written across the screen was 'MOM'. Erin ignored the call but her phone kept ringing.

Erin sighed and she grabbed her phone while one hand was on the wheel. Erin picked up the call and placed the phone up to her ear. Before she said anything, her mom was bickering making Erin roll her eyes. Erin slowed down the car and parked it towards the edge of the bridge. All she could hear was her mom's voice judging her about her decisions and etc.

Crash. An oncoming car collided with Erin's and the crash made her car almost fly back, the airbags didn't deflate and Erin's head collided with the steering wheel. The glass from the windshield shattered sending glass towards the inside of the car, some of it embedded in her skin.

Smoke was emerging from where the two cars collided, the man in the other car managed to get out and call 911. All Erin could hear was a ringing in her ears, she didn't feel anything. She knew she was alive but she didn't feel pain, she assumed it was adrenaline.

Within a few minutes, the police and ambulance arrived at the scene. Erin couldn't move, she felt herself losing weakness. The man from the other car only had a minor head bleed. The firefighters came to Erin's car. The girl was slowly growing unconsciouss, the paramedics stood behind the firefighters so as soon as they opened the door, they could get the girl out.

The firefighters managed to haul the door using some metals tools, the paramedics quickly cut her seatbelt pulled the girl back slowly. Her skin was growing pale and blood was dripping from her head. All they heard was the phone that Erin had in hand which was in the passenger seat and the paramedics heard her mom's worried tone.

The paramedics managed to get the girl on the gurney and towards the ambulance. The sheriff walked up towards the girl. The sheriff had light blonde hair that reached her shoulders, she had a worried look on her face and looked at the girl.

The paramedics examined the girl, her head was bleeding and there were pieces of glass embedded in her skin, one had nicked her neck and once she was in the ambulance they put pressure on the wound.

A sudden sleepiness came over Erin, she wanted to sleep but she kept waking herself up, she didn't want to die.

"Sheriff," she whispered, the sheriff heard her raspy voice and went towards the girl. The sheriff held her hand and her eyes became glassy.

"What is it baby girl?" the sheriff asked.

Erin tried to find her words carefully, "Tell my family that...I-I love them and I...forgive them."

Tears were running down both of their eyes, the sheriff placed a hand on Erin's forehead and rubbed it. Erin looked at the sheriff's badge and saw the named 'Liz' on it.

"Do you have a daughter?" Erin asked.

Liz nodded in response, "Love her and protect her." Erin advised, "I...want to live."

"You're going to live, alright. You're going to be okay," Liz reassured and tears rushed down her face.

"I don't want to be alone."

"You won't." Liz held onto Erin and held her hand tightly, she stood next to the girl until her hand let go and she let out her last breath.

[woah, my first time writing a death, this probably sucked. I hoped this chapter was good and I didn't want to go all into her death. I know that in the summary it said that she died instantly but I didn't because I wanted her to say her last words and show Liz at the scene. bye now]
