Cronus's pov
"Ready?" I asked Kankri as we prepared to head on stage.
"Yes. I'm a bit scared though..." He mumbled.
"Hey," I said as I tilted his head up to meet my eyes. "You love Heathers, and your voice is beautiful. It'll be ok." I smiled. He nodded as a small smile formed on his lips.
"Let's do this." He said. I gave a single nod and we stepped out on stage.
Kankri: "Fine, we're damaged.... Really damaged, but that does not make us wise!
We're not special
We're not different
We don't choose who lives or dies!
Let's be normal,
See bad movies,
Sneak a beer and watch t.v.
We'll bake brownies, or go bowling!
Don't you want a life with me...?
Can't we be seventeen?

Cronus: Or they vanish
Kankri: And you're right, it really blows, but we let go
Cronus: Take a deep breath
Kankri: And go buy some summer clothes.
We'll go camping
Cronus: Play some poker
Kankri: And we'll eat some chili fries. Maybe prom night?
Cronus: Maybe dancing...
Kankri: Don't stop looking in my eyes!
Our eyes were locked together and the crowd seemed to have faded at this point. Kankri's voice lulling me into a trance.
Cronus: Your eyes
Both: Can't we be seventeen? Is that so hard to do? If you could let me in, I could be good with you!
Let us be seventeen! If we've still got the right.
Kankri: So what's it gonna be? I wanna be with you!
Cronus: I wanna be with you
Kankri: Wanna be with you
Both: tonight!
Kankri: Yeah we're damaged...
I see a few tears leak down Kankri's cheeks as he sings this.
Cronus: Badly damaged.
I smile at him and he smiles back.
Both: But your love's to good to lose
Kankri: Hold me tighter.
Cronus: Even closer
Kankri: I'll stay if I'm what you choose...
His eyes held a certain seriousness as he said this. This isn't just music anymore.
Cronus: Can't we be seventeen?
Kankri: If I am what you choose
Cronus: If we've still got the right
Kankri: Cause you're the one I choose
Cronus: You're the one I choose.
Both: You're the one I choose
The crowd burst into applause, but I ignored them as I pulled Kankri in for a kiss. He stiffened for a second before wrapping his arms around me and kissing me back.
"I love you." He whispered over the roar of the crowd.
"I love you to." I grinned before pulling him into another kiss.
Guys I am so sorry this chapter is shit but I'm working on a few other requested chapters. I've been busy with school and i know that's no excuse but I'll try to start updating again soon. Love you guys!!!
