Chapter 16 - Hope Come Knocking

[Jake's POV]

I was watching television with Ashley, CC, and Sammi.

Jinxx and Andy were making breakfast.

Soon there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it," i said.

I stood up and opened the door.

It was Jacky with a friend.

"Hey Jacky, how ya doin??" i greeted him as i let him in.

"Im good, Jake. Oh, and this is Ryan. He plays drums," Jacky said.

"Nice to meet you," Ryan said.

"Thanks, you too," I said.

I led them o the living room where everyone was.

"Hey everyone, have you seen Tara??" Jacky asked.

"She's sleeping upstairs. She's a bit upset, though," Andy said.

"Well, maybe i got something to cheer her up," he said.

He showed us a white small envelope.

"What's in it??" CC asked.

"Lets just say it will make her really happy," Ryan added.

"I'll go get her," I said.

I climbed upstairs and stepped into her room.

She was sleeping.

"Yo, Tara. Wake up. Jacky is here to see you," I whispered.

She got up lazily from her nap and then i took her hand and lead her downstairs.

She was just snapping at me the whole way down to the living room.

[Tara's POV]

"Jake, there better be a good reason your interuppting my nap. Im really tired," i whined.

But he kept pulling me downstairs.

Soon we were in the living room and Jacky was there.

"Hey Jacky," i said as i tried to wake up.

"hello there, love. I hear your a bit upset," he said.

I nodded.

"Well, Jacky's gonna turn that frown upside down," a guy next to him said.

I looked at him. Who was he??

"I'm Ryan, by the way," he said, holding out his hand, a goofy smile on his face.

 I shook his hand and smiled a bit. He had a funny face.

"So how is Mr. Vincent and his sidekick gonna cheer Tara up??" Ashley asked.

"Like this," Jacky said, handing me a thick  white envelope.

I take the envelope and then looked inside.

My heart stopped.

Inside are a bunch of $100, $50, and $20 dollar bills a big stack.

"Jacky, how much is this??" i asked shocked as i pulled out the money stack.

Everyone's mouth dropped and eyes grew wide when they saw the huge wad of cash.

"$8000," he said.

"Holy shit," i said.

"From our band funds. Its not much, though, but we know it can help," Ryan said

I felt my feet give away, but Ryan and Ashley caught me before i fell.

I was sat on a chair, money still at hand.

"Its for Ronnie's bail," Jacky said.

"Jacky, i dont know what to say, i-" i said before he interupped me.

"No thanks necessary. And i talked with the rest of the band. We all agreed to give Ronnie an audition to join Falling in Reverse,"

"Wait, Tara has like $13,000 already saved," Sammi said.

"That means...." CC said and then started counting with his fingers in the air "RONNIE'S FREE!!!" he shouted.

We all cheered loud.

I jumped into Jacky's arms and hugged him as tight as i could.

"Jacky, i cant thank you enough for doing this! But what about the money for the band fundings??" i asked.

"Dont worry about it. We can raise again. We still have a few thousands in it," Ryan said.

"Let's all go bail Ronnie then!!" Jake shouted.

Wwe all cheered while we all got ready.

I ran to my room and got out my metal band-aid box from the closet.

I counted the money plus the money Jacky gave me.

I had in total $20,670.

This was enough to save Ronnie.

I got dressed up in a clean black shirt, Black Veil Brides tshirt, my grey torn jeans, and black cowboy boots.

I did my hair and mae up fast and put on my jewelry and was done.

I put the money in the white envelope and in my purse and rush out.

Jinxx and Ssammi are ready upstairs waiting for me and both grab my hands and pull me with them the the cars outside.

I ride with Jacky and Ryan in Jacky's car. Its a nice vintage Mustang.

Ashley rides with Andy and and CC while Jinxx and Sammi ride with CC.

We all rush to the detention center.
