I wrote this poem when I was loosing a close friendship and relationship at the same time. Its pretty deep. I hope you like it :)

Slipping Away

I cry because it is the best thing I have ever had

And I am loosing it

I can feel my grip slowly slipping

slipping

slipping away

slowly loosing grip

I still force myself everyday

to get out of bed

get dressed

to live my life

I smile

and I talk

soon I will forget my pain

and eventually

I won't cry anymore

because I will forget all those feelings

the heartbreak

the pain

the loneliness

and I will move on

but right now I cry

and I cry

because it is the best thing I have ever had

and I am loosing it

and soon

too soon

it will be gone

gone
