Alex's pov

I've been looking for a roommate for a while now, seeing as though i can't pay for this place all by myself. My friend has been asking me to consider this guy named "jack barakat" or something like that I honestly have no clue, I've never met the dude. What if he's like a murderer. Wait, Why would Lisa be friends with a murderer?
I hear a knock so I get up and answer the door because what else do you do?
"Erm I Uh" the male stumbles over his words
"Hello?" I say as I tilt my head
"Hi are you um, alex gaskarth?" He asks obviously shakey
"Mhm that's me, and you are?"
"Mm in jack, jack barakat" he sticks his hand out and I take it and shake it
"Mm Lisa's friend correct?"
"Yeaah that's me um. She told me you were looking for a roommate"
I nod slowly and step out of the way
"You can come in"
He steps inside
"So um" walks toward the living room "living room"
I watch him as he looks around
Honestly he's a looker not gonna lie.
For the next hour I show him around

"MmMmm you've got a nice place here alex" he hands me a piece of paper "consider me or be your room mate please"
This isn't going to be a hard decision at all
"Thank you for taking a look around jack, I'll see you around yeah?"
"Definitely" he flashes a smile.
It seems the shy boy at the door is long gone by now.
As he leaves I can't help but watch him leave

Months later we decided that he would move in and pay half the rent.
We would end up dating while he was living here.
