Tyler's POV

"So, when do you want to start?" I grinned.

"Not to be rude but I don't need a tutor. So, I'll see you later." I grabbed her arm before she could leave.

"Look, I don't want to be here anymore than you do, but I have to follow Mr. Kenneth's order, otherwise I'll probably get detention, and my mom said if I get one more detention, then no more dance. Now, we are going to the library to sit our asses down and learn some math." I stated firmly.

She looked at me with a shocked face, as if she couldn't believe what I had just said.

"Hello?" I waved my hand in front of her face-beautiful face. Shut up, Tyler.

"S-Sorry." Oh no, I didn't mean to scare her.

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound rude."

"It's fine. Anyways, we both have dance today, so we can't."

"Remember last practice she said we had this whole week off due to her mother being sick." I smirked.

"Oh." She frowned. "Poor Mrs. Miller."

"I know. C'mon though. We need to get you sixty four to at least an eighty four by next week's test."

"Fine."

We walked to the library and took our seats.

"Nia? Tyler? What are you two doing here?" I turned to see Travis. Of course.

"None of your business!" I said as I got out of my chair.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Travis looked helplessly at Nia.

"Tyler, sit down!" I raised an eyebrow at her. "Sit!" I quickly sat back down.

"Travis, listen, Tyler's tutoring me in math."

"Is that some kind of joke?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I said standing up again.

"Tyler-" Nia tried but Travis cut her off.

"It means there's no way you are tutoring her! You're all brawn and no brain!" That was enough.

"You're dead." I growled.

"Tyler! Please don't!" Nia pleaded.

I picked him up by his nerdy collar and pushed him against a bookshelf. I pulled him up to where I can see him-I'm a good five inches taller than him.

"Tyler! Stop now!" Nia put her hand on my shoulder which sent chills through my body.

I instantly dropped Travis.

"So this is what you do?" He turned to Nia. "You think I'm to nerdy so you go and cheat on me with my brother?" He shouted.

"Cheat?" Nia and I both said at the same time.

"Tyler, please just stay out of this." Nia said.

"Whatever." I grumbled.

"I can assure you I'm not cheating on you!"

"It's because he's all muscle and I'm just a dork, right? The pathetic thing is you lied to me. You made up a stupid excuse. You expect me to believe that Tyler is tutoring you? Pathetic."

"Are you being serious? I have not, nor will I ever, cheated on you! I did not lie! Even ask Mr. Kenneth!"

"I can't believe you, Nia! Have fun with my stupid brother! He's just a jerk that will play you just like he does every other girl! We are over! Goodbye!"

"Are you serious? Okay, whatever!" Nia laughed.

"Are you okay?" I asked as she sat back down.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said.

"You don't look fine."

"I'm fine!"

"You know, what he said's true."

"What?" She asked.

"Well, some of it." I smirked. "I am a jerk and I have played girls, I'm not going to lie to you, but one thing's for sure, I would not play you."

"Thanks?"

"Oh, welcome. I know you probably don't believe me, I wouldn't expect you to."
