Chapter 10

Ethan's POV... After Megan walks out I sigh deeply. She's leaving me. Harvard is an amazing school, and she got in. There is absolutely no way she will give up that chance. No matter what she says, I know she'll choose to leave. The thought of losing her so quickly, kills me. It lay on my bed with my hands behind my head thinking about this when Gray walks in. He says sympathetically, "Hey. How you doing?" I laugh humorlessly, "How do you think I'm doing Grayson? It's only beend about a week and I know I can't lose her. And here she is, leaving me. There is no way she isn't going to go. It's not possible." I know i sound so rude and I'm being cold to him, but I can't help it. This sucks. He sighs, "Ethan, she wanted your help to make a decision. She is honestly considering declining Harvard to stay here. She's worried that your mad. Talk to her." With that he walks out. Ugh. He's right, but i just have to let this sink in. I don't want her to leave but I also don't want to hold her back from this amazing opportunity. I decide to head over to her house. I knock on the door snd bite my lip. I hope she doesn't hate me. Megan opens the door and comes out on the porch. I say softly, "Megan I'm sorry. I was just afraid that yiu would leave me. I'm sorry. But whatever you choose, it's fine." But I know in my heart that I'll be so sad if she leaves. I need her. She walks into my arms and says softly, "Thank you. I'll think about it. I don't want to leave everyome but this is an amazing opportunity." I kiss her head and say sweetly, "It's ok babe, I'll be here for you either way." I think I'm in love with her. She presses a kiss to my lips and I smile. Perfect.
