One girl. One boy. One gigantic snowstorm.

In which Rosie Whittaker gets stuck with Sam Kingsley under a roof, all the while enduring (and surviving) one of the biggest blizzards that has ever swept the East Coast.

Will friendships blossom? New opportunities arise? Can they tolerate each other's polar (no pun intended; yes, pun totally intended) opposite personalities to walk under the same, snow-clad roof?

That question is debatable. However, their survival just might depend on it.

But Rosie just might have to survive Sam first.

this story a random idea i had thought of as i stared at my bedroom ceiling around 12:38 am yesterday morning. yes, there will be grammatical errors and yes, i will try to fix them along the way.

this story, however, might not be in your best interest if you're not into clichés. this is a work of solely fiction and based on words made up into sentences from my stupid brain.

as well as creating this story, i will be writing my other book, HTPTVOCA. so updates might take a while. i dunno if i will even continue on with this story, but i thought it's plot might interest all you teen-fiction lovers (because i am one myself).

Rosie Whittaker [pronounced Whit-aker (not Whit-taker)] + Sam Kingsley .

this will not just be a story about what happens during the storm. it beginning, the end, and the aftermath of it. i will try my hardest to prolong the chapters so the book isn't so short.

these are two very unlikely characters, each personality deeply contrasting with the other. it's in the title, Surviving Sam. they are going to learn how to tolerate each other's presences without fighting and ripping each other's head off, or else it's going to end in disaster.

i am going to warn you, however. this book is filled to the brim with clichés. Sam might seem to have a bad boy image, whereas Rosie might seem like the epitome of what would be a good girl. i am not going to blatantly say they are, because it's just their personalities, and it's up to you as the readers to determine how you see the characters.

each character is going to have their secrets, waiting to be spilled as each chapter progresses. it's not all fun in the snow.

this is a teen fiction novel, meaning it's completely original and all fiction. names, characters, places, and incidents are solely of the author's imagination, and/or are used in a fictitious manner.

❅ BEWARE: this story includes mature themes just as suggestive language (swearing, mostly from Sam), mild violence (again, mostly from Sam), and serious controversial topics (ex: divorce, love, heartbreak, assault). this book is suggested to be read by readers ages 13+ .

yes, this is a typical story about the bond between a girl and boy. although, it's not just that. they will have to learn to tolerate each other and survive the battling blizzard right outside their front door. there is going to be plot twists, cliffhangers, scary moments, breaks in the fourth wall, and a whole load of tears (coming mostly from you readers).

please relax and enjoy yourselves on this whimsical (and freezing) adventure between Rosie and Sam.
