What if we lived in a world where no complexion existed
Would you title me then amongst the others of this nation
Would my colorless skin now be the target of your affliction
I need answers because these crying eyes from this prying society
Has stripped me of humanity making me want to tap my animal instincts
And go ape s*** on
the ones that say my name isn't worthyWho are you to predetermine my destiny
Who are you to manifest my dreams in your likeness
For you show no complexion above mine that gives you divine power
Last I checked your pigment matched mine making you an equal
But through those cloudy eyes you can't see
The thunderstorms you created nor the hurricanes that ravaged me
Ripping my bare soul spilling my innocent blood on this pavement
For what you think is the betterment of this nation of no color
Why must I be singled out, we're all of one creation
The higher power that no one sees but know of it's existence
That's the only person who can judge me
Not one mere mortal who breathes like me or bleeds like me
Can ever take what's rightfully mine and that's my being
For if we were to strip away these colors only the blind of humanity can still see them
Meaning you don't deserve to live amongst those who only see people and not color
For how can you possibly see anything beyond grey in this nation of no complexions.
