Best Friends

Best friends come and go,

Just like the winters frozen snow;

A small wind through the breeze,

Finally ripping down the trees.

The seasons change,

You don't yet know;

The cold damp rain,

comes and goes,

They will soon be a Foe.

Just because they are your friend today,

Doesn't mean they will always stay.

Just like the spring's warm showers,

It doesn't always bring bee's and flowers.

Just like the summer turns into fall,

You never understood the point at all;

Why you tried and tried and didn't succeed,

And until their heart's filled with greed.

So go and trust yourself today,

they won't be there anyway.
