Adalwolf Zimmerman

(December 1939)

I stood up and held on to the couch as my legs readjusted to the weight on them. Alaric wasn't paying attention to me and Jack was busy moving something.

"Can I help with something?" I asked. Alaric glanced at me and smirked.

"Come here and wash these dishes," Alaric stated. I flipped him off and he laughed.

"That is kinda cruel," Jack said. I walked over to him and hugged him.

"Wanna carry me instead?" I asked, softly. He looked at me and I pouted a little bit.

"I meant that he has looked around and I think you should be relaxing," he told me, softly.

"I'm going to see if Doctor Mengele is around," Alaric said as he put a dish away and walked out of the room.

"What are we, Adal?" Jack asked and I was taken aback. I shrugged.

"I don't know," I said as I walked back to the couch. He sighed.

"What do you want to be?" he asked. I laid back down and he put my head on his lap.

"I don't know," I said. He touched the top of my head and I watched him. He leaned down and kissed me.

"He infected Jack!" someone yelled and I jumped. Alaric was standing next to Doctor Mengele and there was two soldiers in front of them.

"Adal," Alaric mouthed, with a pained expression. I looked around until Doctor Mengele walked forward.

"You must purify both of them and ensure that they will be good Christian boys," Doctor Mengele said, "I will set up the program for you." I swallowed as one of the soldiers grabbed me. Jack gave me an expression that I couldn't read and slowly he walked forward while the other soldier held his arm.

(January 1940)

I couldn't breathe or move as the soldier shoved my head under holy water. I tried to thrash away but the soldier had a good grasp on me. I was finally pulled up and took a few deep breaths as he threw me to the ground. Jack was watching me with an anxious face but he had a rag in his mouth so he couldn't talk.

"Scum," the soldier muttered before throwing me against a wall. I whimpered and Jack moved a little. He lost a lot of weight and I lost even more than I already did. He took out the rag of Jack's mouth.

"I am so sorry Adalwolf. I am so sorry," Jack rushed as the soldier pulled him up. He got a punch in the face and I curled around myself. I felt tears go down my face and I wanted to die. Why did I have to live this life?

Adeline Zimmerman

(December 1940)

I walked with Wilson down to the worse part of town to meet with a British and American handler. I was anxious and Wilson reached across and held my hand.

"Don't worry. You'll be fine," Wilson said and I smiled at him. His hand was nice around mine and I smiled at him.

"With you I will be," I said and he brought my hand to his lips to place a kiss on my knuckles.

"We need to talk after this. I want to be more than friends," he said and I smiled at him.

"I want to be more than friends as well," I whispered and he smiled a little. I felt my face warm up. We walked into the pub that we were suppose to meet the American and Brit.

"Right here," Wilson said as we sat in a hidden booth. My flats clicked against the wooden floor in the pattern that we were told to do and looked at Wilson. "Does that mean we are dating?" Wilson asked. I nodded and he smiled.

"Wilson Jones, Adeline Zimmerman," a man stated in English as he sat down. We looked at him and his associate.

"You are younger than we thought," the second man, who sounded American, said, "I'm Eric Kursinski." We looked at the other man.

"I'm Sam Witler," the man said and we nodded. "What can you tell us?"

"Well-" Wilson started but I cut him off.

"Before we tell you anything, I need assurance," I said. All three looked at me. "I won't be able to leave as easily if Germany starts to lose and that can result in bad things for my family. I want to make sure that my brothers and I with whoever we love can get to America or Britain if Germany starts to lose."

"Those passes will be open to you, Miss Zimmerman. You will be able to bring one person each," Eric said. I nodded.

"The soldiers are staying by ditches and hiding in them during bombings. That's why you are getting attacked when you go down to raid the bodies," I told them. Wilson rubbed my fingers. I excluded my parents. They would kill me if they knew so it was better this way.

"We heard rumours that there is camps with Jewish populations in it," Sam said. I looked at Wilson.

"Let me ask around," I stated and looked at Wilson. I think Wilson was worried that I was going to get into something that I couldn't get out of.

"I'll be with her the whole time," Wilson said and squeezed my hand.

"We are just concerned that because of your age that you may reach difficulty in finding information," Sam said.

"Or that gives us an advantage over adult spies," I said and they both nodded.

(November 1943)

Wilson spun me around and I wrapped my arms around his neck before kissing him. It was my sixteenth birthday and Wilson was taking me out on the town.

Our relationship only grew and he appealed to my parents as a gentleman so my parents liked him a lot more than when they first met him. And I found out that Wilson was a year older than me.

I actually noticed that I changed a lot. My face thinned out. I grew and in effect made my body thinner. I let my hair grow out and it was a curly mess.

"Miss Zimmerman, I must say, you look amazing in this dress," Wilson said as he spun me around. I smiled and folded my hands in front of me.

"Mr Jones, you look dashing in your suit," I told him and he leaned over to move my hair.

"I love you, Addie," he said and I smiled before kissing him. Once in while it was okay to act like teenagers and not spies.
