1:54 PM. In just a couple of minutes, six minutes to be exact, my best friend should be here. His name is Calum.
We've been best friends since before I can remember.
This park is where I come when I need to clear my head. Me and Calum used to sneak off and meet each other here whenever we needed to talk or just wanted to chill.
"Iyana!"
I looked up to see no other then Calum.
"Cal!" I cried out as i jumped up from the park bench.
"I can't believe it's you. You look.....great." Calum said as we ran straight into each other's arms.
"Me? Look at you. You have no idea how much I've missed you."
" How's Brent" Calum asked, referring to my boyf...EX-boyfriend.
"We um......kinda broke up"
" I'm sorry Iyana" He said as we sat on the bench.
" Don't be, I've had my eye on someone else for a long time now" I said with a wink.
"Oh" Calum said with a bit of hope in his voice. " Care to describe him?!?!?"
"Well let's see, he has an amazing butt, he's in a band and is a great friend. "
"I think I know him."
"Just kiss me already. " I almost yelled.
We leaned in until we were only inches away.
"I've been waiting for this all my life, Iyana"
Then that's when it happened. His swwet, full lips on mine, moving in sync with mine. It only took what felt like an eternity was only a few seconds until we pulled apart.
"Finally." I said after pulling away. Oh how I love this boy.
